In an announcement on both the Japanese and Global Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link official accounts on X, the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link development team has shared a message on the decision to cancel the development of the game.   5. It’s actually completely fine as a stand alone thread. The ML general chat thread(as well as other general chat threads) only exist to allow folks to participate in the discord server’s discussions as a way to bridge communities on both server and site. These are much more casual and short form discussions and aren’t treated as traditional forum topics. On topic though - the communication or lack thereof surrounding the game is definitely concerning. I don’t know if scrapped is the way it’s going but would agree if/when it releases the playerbase may taper off relatively quickly, while there’s still interest in it seems like a lot are put off by the fact that it’s mobile and gacha. I do hope we see something of it eventually but am not holding my breath if not.
