  1. Wow, I am very impressed with this CE. Hopefully they do something of this caliber for the PS4 version.
  2. I am extremely doubtful that Kingdom Hearts will make any appearance. With D23 the next week, Square and Disney will likely hold off all information until then. Anything shown about KH would likely be previous footage and news.
  3. They will likely still use a more traditional battle system akin to Symphonia or Xillia in the future, but since the Graces battle system is very popular among the fanbase it is likely that there will be more installments that feature a system based on it.
  4. This would be great and would have loads of potential, but Nintendo would never allow another company to make a mainline Zelda game, the most hope Square would ever have is making a complete spin-off title like Hyrule Warriors, and even that would be really pushing it.
  5. People are just still riding their initial hate for the game because it wasn't what they wanted or expected. If people were to go back and really play it for what it is there would be a whole lot more love for it.
  6. Yes and No, I got into Final Fantasy because of Kingdom Hearts, but the first game I played was XIII, which none of the characters are featured in KH (yet).
  7. They may look dumb in short sleeves if it were winter, but tell that to Sora when he was wearing thick, all black clothing in the Saudi Arabian desert.
  8. His name also symbolizes a Phoenix, how a Phoenix burns up and from the ashes rises anew. Luke is the symbolic Phoenix while Asche is the ashes that are left behind.
  9. That is the custscene from the Secret Episode in BBS Final Mix Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Luq6YNEbFI
  10. I would expect Unchained x to come first, no release date, just a release, but with the KH event right around the corner there is a chance that 2.8 could get a release date (if it is to release before E3 and other big events) or that KH3 gets a release window (Nomura somewhat hinted at this during E3). It really depends on how close Ux is to being finished.
  11. I am terribly excited for new people to play DDD HD and finally understand how frustrating it's plot pacing is.
  12. It is purely dependent on the developer. A lot of developers release old games on the platforms e-store to avoid the issue of backwards compatibility and so they don't need to remaster it. Pokemon Red and Fire Red are good examples. There is also strong evidence supporting that Twilight Princess will receive an HD update and it is still backwards compatible. If you really want a game remastered though, you have to let the developer know that you are interested in it, since remasters are largely influenced by consumer demand.
  13. To start, I will preface this for anyone who does not know what this is: Back at PAX Prime, Square Enix confirmed that FFXV was going to be released in 2016, but said they could not reveal a specific date. Instead, they announced that they would be holding an even sometime in March of next year to announce the official release date. Now that we are all on the same page: Does this strike anyone else as being odd? I know FFXV is easily one of the most anticipated titles Square has released in a long time, but is it really worthy of having a special event just to announce its release date? I mean the same could easily be accomplished by releasing a trailer, making a press release, or even including it into an ATR (Active Time Report). To me, there are two things that this event could mean: 1) FFXV will release sometime before E3 - This is probably the more likely of my two opinions. it would make sense for them to announce a release date at E3 since it is the largest gaming event of the year, and Square has not shied away from making some of their bigger reveals at it (KH3, FFXV). Square would have to be releasing the game before E3 if they think holding a separate event is warranted. 2) FFXV will release a short period after this event - This theory is in line with the first one, but on a much closer time frame. A game as big as FFXV could warrant an event like this one if the news dropped at it is equally as large. I am not predicting any sort of "The game releases tonight" or anything that extreme, but I think it is a possibility that they could announce the game to release very shortly after the event (a month or two). Square has been marketing this game well, and dropping news like that would easily make it one of the biggest and strongest marketing tactics of the year. (I say all of this as just a theory, as I don't personally believe the game would be ready by then). Now these are just two theories I have devised, and they honestly could mean nothing (I still have a strong feeling of a Fall release myself). I just found it odd that Square would make such a large deal about a release date announcement. Let me know if you think it means something else, if you think either of these are possible, or if you think the event means nothing special.
  14. Physical for now, but I will admit to double dipping with certain games so there is a chance I may get digital in the future.
  15. Their fate in the series is still up in the air. Since they have only been featured in one game, we cannot say if they are meant to play a bigger role or if they are just instance characters in Traverse Town. Until they appear in another KH game, I will not say that they will remain part of the KH universe.
  16. Go PS4, since there really is no reason not to since it will technically be the superior version. Although, if you do any PC gaming you can also get it there (plus if you pre-order you will get a copy of Tales of Symphonia for free). As far as changes go between the versions it is strictly a graphical improvement and maybe some performance stability, no changes to anything else. Since you are a newcomer to the series the closest gameplay systems I can name are Star Ocean and Final Fantasy XV (Not that we even know how that will fully play) It is all real time and fast paced. Definitely get this game though!
  17. Really anytime between now and the end of the year, they have been working on it for a while so I have no doubt they will release t before the year ends.
  18. Yup, easily the best summary of a game I have seen.
  19. They actually don't give the games themselves terrible scores, they just have people who know nothing about KH do all the trailer analyses and such.
  20. With a name like Jaxon, I just assume that I already am a nobody and that my real name is Joan.
  21. The thing is, cutting the price is an option for Sony, unlike Microsoft who had to cut the price if they wanted to compete. It will be fun to see what console sells more this holiday season now that they are on an equal pricing field.
  22. If you thought Disney wouldn't let Kingdom Hearts Dissidia fly...
  23. There is still no information on if Vanitas still exists, it is alluded that he may be one of the darknesses, but without confirmation there is no use in analyzing his future. Also it is likely that he will cease to exist if he is a darkness, as he is a piece of Ventus's heart and we can presume that Ventus will regain his whole heart in KHIII.
  24. Like I have said before, I am fine with multiple playable characters, but it cannot be in the fashion of BBS or DDD. It has to be done in the fashion of KH2 if it is going to feel like a main numbered game. The story is too broken when you play as multiple characters throughout the main arc. That being said, I am completely fine with a multiplayer that offers a large roster to choose from.
