  1. That's what happens when you keep retconning everything to make your Villain Sue look all-powerful---sooner or later, you lose track of character consistency.
  2. Especially Terra and Eraqus. After all that buildup in both Blank Points and the interviews, if they don't deliver something epic---or anything at all, for that matter---I will take my KH3 disk and go AVGN all over it.
  3. That it finally redeems the overall plot after the clusterfiretruck that was DDD.
  4. MX only killed Eraqus from behind after he'd already been worn down by Terra. And if anger leads to Darkness, then how come Princesses like Kairi and Belle get angry at times?
  5. The story, even with how bad and shark-jumpy it's gotten lately (*Cough!*DDD.*Cough!*).
  6. I had to euthanize my Pekingese named Zoey last year, so I know the feels.
  7. So do I, despite the Sonic Boom show, on the other hand, being decent.
  8. MX being even more of a Villain Sue and/or getting off too quickly and painlessly, TAV being unnecessarily kicked down even more, a predictable final battle, and/or yet another Bittersweet/Downer Ending instead of a closure-filled one like KH2's.
  9. Eraqus. He technically gave us our first Light-based antagonist, and he was actually a sympathetic one, IMO---the "tyranny of Light" honestly seems much preferable over MX's "Balance," and him killing Ven and Terra would've been a mercy compared to what ended up happening to them instead---and he even redeemed himself by "seeding" Terra's Heart before MX could.

  11. Personally, the most it should do Star-Wars-wise is just a bonus battle with Darth Vader or something, not unlike with Sephiroth in KH1 and KH2.
  12. KH2 had the most closure and didn't give us a final "Firetruck you" for once.
  13. Given the sudden influx of information Square's given us, I can't really disagree.
  14. Remember Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and his "quick, clean end"? Didn't go over well with the fans at all.
  15. And if you want a generic, predictable payoff, then be my guest.
  16. TAV's "torment" = a decade. MX's "torment" = a few minutes. And I'm supposed to feel closure at such a mismatch?
  17. MX having a quick and painless demise. How fair would that be to people like TAV?
  18. Vanitas invoking The Dog Bites Back for all his abuse from MX (as Alpha Baymax suggested), Saix/Isa invoking Redemption Equals Death for Axel/Lea (as LETTERSE7EN suggested), or Terra (and/or Eraqus) invoking Woobie, Destroyer Of Worlds by stealing KH from MX in order to invoke Taking You With Me on the Seekers.
  19. But sadly, DDD only seemed too eager to just make it worse---the illusion scene where Terra and Aqua left Ven in despair, the fact that now they'll most likely return feeling like s*** for failing to even hinder MX's master plan (even helping it along), Ven's Armor being useless to Sora (thus giving Ven yet another Butt Monkey moment just to make MX's Darkness even more of a Villain Sue force), etc. Just... firetruck that game.
  20. MX: *Can't possess anyone too self-aware.* *Has no trouble possessing someone not only self-aware enough to create an armored juggernaut that actually defeats MX, but also containing the awareness of the most anti-Darkness man in the universe.* Yoda: "Consistency, Nomura lacks."
  21. DDD turning MX into a time-traveling Aizen, making all the heroes and other villains his b****es, and committing homicide on all our nostalgia and senses of accomplishment.
  22. Given what little we've seen of Terranort as ATW's apprentice, there's probably some major behind-the-scenes shenanigans with Terra and Eraqus. I mean, why else even have them there?
