13 Worlds Theory... a sham? or real?
I didn't mean that it wasn't a world, I do think it is a world, just not necessarily a world vital to the plot of the games. And you are correct the final mix is the final version, but the badlands portion of KH2 FM+ is again, not vital to the storyline of the game, so I don't think it counts as part of the 13. My reason for the emphasis on "vital" worlds is that recently Nomura stated that the worlds included in KH3 will only be ones that can progress the storyline and not be there just to have more worlds. That's why I don't count several worlds in the games because they didn't have the most important role. (In this case atlantica should not count in Kh2 though) There are lots of possibilities though! I agree with you about mirage arena. I didn't notice that in the original post. Definitely not a world, though I personally don't consider the Realm of Darkness a world but that's just me

13 Worlds Theory... a sham? or real?
Good points about the 13 worlds in each game. I disagree on a few things though. 1. Dive to the Heart is not a world. It's part of sora's heart. (Hence the name "dive to the heart") 2. The Realm of Darkness isn't a world, similar to how Kingdom hearts itself is not a world. They are merely opposites of each other, one holding light, and one holding darkness. Characters can exist in the Realm of darkness and in the realm of light (KH itself). this is shown through the final battles in KH2 (KH) and many cutscenes through the other games (RoD) As far as the other points: - I don't think 100 acre wood is counted in KH or KH2 because it is entered through a book, not through normal means. - I DO think space paranoids should count personally, but since it is entered by means of a computer, it could fall into the same catagory as 100 Acre Wood, going with my previous point. But if The Grid can count as a world, and tron remembered Sora, then Space paranoids should count as well. - If space paranoids counts in KH2, then destiny islands would not, though it is shown in cutscenes - I personally dont think the final mix expansions should count. For KH3D, I personally think that the idea is that there are 7 worlds. 1. Traverse Town 2. La Cite de Cloches 3. The Grid 4. Prankster's Paradise (both the amusement park and monstro, I don't think Monstro is a different world, which I will explain why below) 5. Land of the Muskateers 6. Symphony of Sorcery 7. The World that Never Was. My reasoning for this, is that these are the worlds that are traveled to. Yes, there are other worlds in the cutscenes but I feel like those 7 are the 7 important worlds visited in the game. I do not count Monstro as a separate world because you must remember that Riku dove into Sora's dreams. It is entirely possible that upon encountering pinochio, sora began to dream of his previous encounter with him inside Monstro, where he found Riku with Kairi, which would cause Riku to enter that portion of the world. Mysterious tower is not really a vital world to the story in this game besides being the starting point from which the journey through dreams begins. Also, 3D, is the first game to introduce the idea of the 7 lights to fight the 13 darknesses. For this reason, I feel like 7 worlds makes the most sense. I personally think that KH, CoM, KH2, and BBS all have 13 fundamentally important worlds. It can be argued that KH2 has several more, but as far as ones that are vital to the story (again why space paranoids should count as it was the system created by ansem the wise) I think there are 13 in each game. I think KH3D has 7 fundamentally important ones as I explained above, coinciding with the introduction of the 7 lights. I hope that KH3 has 20 worlds, to represent the final culmination of the 13 lights with 7 darknesses as they fight to conclude the Xehanort Saga. I think that would be awesome as well as larger amount of worlds than ever before. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 2 other things to note: - KH re:Coded has 7 worlds: 1. Disney Castle 2. Destiny Islands 3. Traverse Town 4. Olympus Coloseum 5. Wonderland 6. Agrabah 7. Hollow Bastion - KH 358/2 Days has 7 worlds visited on missions 1. Twilight Town 2. Agrabah 3. Beast's Castle 4. Halloween Town 5. Olympus Coloseum 6. Wonderland 7. Neverland I realize the world that never was is the hub from which all the missions depart, but I am treating it like the mysterious tower in KH3D, important, but not a vital world in this particular story. (besides the scene where Riku captures Roxas after turning into Ansem, but to be honest, this is more of a lead in to the 7 days at the start of KH2 than a vital part of the main story between Roxas, Axel, and Xion.) Just my personal opinions. Enjoy!

KH2 logo I drew years ago.
Thanks everyone!

KH2 logo I drew years ago.
I just found this on my facebook the other day. Forgot I had done it. It was a year or 2 after KH2 came out but I got bored one afternoon and grabbed the game box and looked at it to draw this. I was so impressed that I drew it by just looking at it haha. I drew it a lot bigger than what was on the box and spent the next afternoon shading all the colors and stuff. Felt like sharing it!

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Limited Edition revealed
I live in the US, so I checked Amazon and Gamestop immediately after the announcement. Neither have been updated yet, but KH HD was the same way when it's special edition was announced. It took a few hours to show up on Amazon and 1-2 days to show up on gamestop. Square Enix did update their FF X/X-2 website which has an option to pre-order but it only lists Amazon at the moment. Here is a link to the site: http://finalfantasyxhd.com. The pre-order function is on the bottom right. I would recommend just checking back throughout the day on retailers sites. It will show up eventually. But there also isn't a release date yet. Or an official price. So who knows. EDIT: the price is $39.99

Kingdom Hearts 3 will have 13 worlds?
THIS. 20 worlds! haha it would be perfect!! Though I also wouldn't mind like 30. That would be amazing.

The Lone Ranger
It might be rated teen though I doubt that. And the original fanbase is older yet there will be new fans who are younger. E10+ did not exist until March 2005 by the way. Many games that were on the fence of E or T go into E10+ now. KH1 probably would have been E10+ originally too. Personally, I think the lone ranger looks great and people may have applauded when you saw it (I don't really like when people do that in a theater, myself) but there was applause when I saw the recent star trek, man of steel, the hobbit back in the fall, life of pi, the dark knight rises, and many other movies so I don't consider that to be a "rare" occurrence, especially on an opening weekend. Its pretty common these days unless the movie just bombs. As far as reception of the lone ranger goes, it hasnt been great. It didnt make that much money in it's opening weekend compared to the cost of production. Technically, it will not be considered a successful film because of these things. This of course does not mean it's a bad film. I agree, I think it would be a cool world in Kingdom Hearts. Pirates in KH2 even had Barbossa drinking alcohol. But when they use worlds, they try and stay true to the events that take place in the movies themselves, and I don't see them likely using a villain who takes a bite out of someone's heart. Maybe I'm wrong and they would be willing to do that, but in a video game, that might move it to a Mature rating, as that is considered fairly gruesome. Of course everything at this point is speculation, and I think it would be cool, but I think it is unlikely. Just my opinion

The Lone Ranger
It is possible, but so far, The Lone Ranger has not been very popular. Pirates on the other hand, was a huge hit. Also, cursed pirates are a much more child-friendly villain than a cannibal. That could play a huge part the chances of The Lone Ranger showing up in KH

KH HD Artbook
I got mine at Amazon. Gamestop is another good option if you live in the US.

Tetsuya Nomura interview with KHDestiny & KHisland
GREAT interview!!! Definitely one of the best in awhile. Lots of great answers from Nomura, many are very detailed and actually give out a ton of information. I know it's already been mentioned in some earlier comments (and hinted at a few months ago), I love "are you going to remaster the other titles?" --- "Of course!" haha. Nomura sure can be a troll at times but other times he's so chill, I love it. He even stated a few questions later that they are working on it. I knew it was coming, it is just nice to hear more and more about it. 2 other things of interest: - Voice controls?? This could be a cool (or completely stupid if implimented badly) feature!!! With the new Kinect 2.0 and the new Playstation 4 Camera, both feature enhanced microphone setups for quality voice recognition. If done well, this could be a neat feature. - D23 conference surprise announcement? I wonder what this will be?? It is for Japan so it will obviously be an announcement for them and not the other regions, but what could it be? More KH3 info? An earlier 2.5 HD announcment? Personally, I expect a KH3 announcement and then KH 2.5 HD at the Tokyo Game Show. But who knows!! I'm just so happy that KH is finally picking up steam again as we head to the end of the Xehanort Saga. EDIT: Please ignore the crossed out words. I know Sora96 said earlier in these comments that KH 2.5 won't be announced until the Tokyo Game Show, which is what I thought earlier. But I just noticed that Nomura said that pertaining to the surprise announcment, it will not be KH3 related because they just did an announcment of that at E3, so this time it will be something different. "Since we announced Kingdom Hearts III at E3, we cannot make another announcement for the same game. Instead we will announce something else, which you will see soon enough." I really hope this means KH 2.5. It might be more KH X [chi] info as well but I really hope for 2.5.

Most confusing plot in a KH game?
The time travel in DDD was confusing for me at first until I realized that once the heart is separated from the body, it can be sent anywhere the original person has been in time. From that point, it can bring versions of itself through time temporarily, in the case of DDD, all to one instance in the Organization XIII chamber. Once you realize that and then see where all xehanort was throughout time, whether as himself, terranort, ansem SoD, or Xemnas, and it's not too confusing anymore.

Kingdom Hearts X [chi] trailer released
Anyone besides me notice the new heartless? In Dwarf Woodlands, there is a heartless that looks like a bag of gems. Not really important, but it's the first new heartless since KH2 (since Dwarf Woodlands had Unversed in BBS), so it's kinda cool.

A question about Kingdom Hearts X
First off, it is only confirmed for Japan. This doesn't mean we won't get it eventually. (Of course nothing is guaranteed.) Also, it is a free game, with in-game purchases like most Facebook games.

Besides KH -HD 1.5 ReMIX-, is there any other game you're looking forward to buy in the next few months?
Talex of Xillia, The Puppeteer, Mario and Luigi Dream Team, Madden 25, Pokemon X/Y, Assassin's Creed IV and a few other games I didn't get when they came out: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS), Luigi's Mansion 2, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Of course this all depends on if I can make the money to pay for all of them.

KHIII`s Graphics Opinion?
You have to remember that they are going for a "Disney-like" quality of shading. Also, you don't know where they are standing in the pictures, the sun might be shining on them. Also, like it was said above, CGI is going to look different from the render in-game. Just to point out in the pictures you chose, Donald and Goofy both have the Sun behind them, so what you see will be darker due to the shadow, also, sora is in the realm of darkness so that will make things naturally less vibrant and shiny too.

Now, you know what would have been better than Lea's "Temporally Flexible" training in KH3D?
^THIS.^

Anti-Form, DiZ as a SoD, and why Xehanort renamed himself "Ansem"
Ansem SoD and Xemnas are both based off of Xehanort as he using Terra's body... So they look similar to Terranort. Other than the golden eyes, they are not related to Ansem the Wise.

What is your opinion on the KHIII artwork?
LOVE IT. If the rest of the game looks that good, I will be more than happy.

New Kingdom Hearts III artwork revealed
They all kinda have bony arms and legs. hahaha

New Kingdom Hearts III artwork revealed
If you look at his arms and legs and general body structure, it seems to fit well, its just he wears that loose jacket and those super baggy pants and don't forget the giant shoes.

KH3 ending prediction
I think similar to the way Riku took the keyblade from Sora at Hollow Bastion in KH1, Xehanort will forge the X-Blade with the 13 Darknesses and 7 Lights clash. Then when all hope is lost, the X-Blade will move to Sora and he will lead the charge, turning the tides and allowing the Lights to win.

What size TV will you experience the future of KH on?
I'm a college musician, so you can only imagine how little money I have. I have a 22 inch 1080p Vizio that I got last year for a great low price and yeah it can be small at times when there is a lot of detail but I'm not gonna just go buy a new one. I already have to shell out a couple hundred for a PS4 and then games for it.

Video Game Discs
at the time it made sense though because Blu-ray was expensive and new. The PS3 was the cheapest bluray player on the market at $600. It cost over $800 to make each PS3 and took like 6 years for the company to make a profit again. Now bluray is a reasonable cost and not something big and new and it has become the standard disc format, but HD DVD seemed like it was the next thing until Sony helped pioneer bluray and put it in the PS3 and it destroyed HD DVD.Not really. It's called technology.

Is a 2.5 ReMix still going to happen?
It will probably be announced at the Tokyo Game Show in September.
