So by that logic, Nomura also broke the rules by including both Aladdin and Hercules (along with the other characters of the two franchises) in the KH series, both of which first appeared in their respective films and were each THEREAFTER given a spinoff tv series. Not to be mean but you're kind of contradicting yourself now Just because Sparky made TV appearances AFTER his first film has no impact on these "rules." If he had been introduced in spinoff series first, you'd most definitely be correct.

Technically, he didn't. He made appearances in the TV series but was first introduced in "Stitch! The Movie", which served as the sequel to the original film.
