before that just to make you clear that every main numbered FINAL FANTASY games have completely different story. It is not a continue sequel like Kingdom Hearts. there's only two main FF games that have their direct sequel which is FFX with FFX-2 and FFXIII with FFXIII-2 and Lightning Returns. ---------------------------------- during E32006 (if I'm not mistaken) which is the year when PS3 was announced, SQEX announced 3 FF titles which is under the new mythology known as 'Fabula Nova Crystallis' the titles are FINAL FANTASY XIII which is will be the next main FF games after XII for PS3 (at first the game was developed for PS2 but changed to PS3), second title are FINAL FANTASY Versus XIII which is going to be directed by Nomura, same mythology, but completely different story for PS3, and third one is FINAL FANTASY Agito XIII for PSP, same mythology and also, different story. They change the name of FFAgito later to FFType-0, the game released exclusively for PSP in Japan. (please not to be confused with the new iOS/Android title FFAgito announced by SQEX this year) after so many years, there is no news of FF Versus XIII, only this year they announced it again but decide to change it to FINAL FANTASY XV because they want to make this game into a main numbered FF games for PS4. The reason why it took so long to make FFVersusXIII (now FFXV) because they need time to start all over again to make it playable for PS4, because at first it is developed for PS3 then now PS4) In conclusion, I can say that they change the name to FFXV because the game will be the next numbered FF games for PS4. it's like why I need to release FFVersus on PS4, then make another FFXV all over again for PS4, why don't just make FFVersusXIII become the next main FF game by changing its name. and one more extra info, the original name for FF Type-0 was FF Agito XIII, which is later renamed as FFType-0, this year they announced the new iOS/Android game named FFAgito, FFAgito will be the prequel for FFType-0 which was released in JP years ago. So in E32006, they announced 3 Final Fantasy games, but only FFXIII make it later after that, there is no news about Versus until E3 this year (there is some news between it but just some short trailer), and FFType-0 only released in Japan. Which makes a lot of FF fans frustrated waiting for 2 of the games. The announcement of FFVersusXIII changing to XV for PS4 makes a lot of FF fans happy + it is directed by Tetsuya Nomura!, finally after years waiting there is major news on FFXV saying it will be release soon for PS4, and later FFAgito were announced for iOS/Android which makes FF fans happy because it is a prequel of Japan exclusive FF game, FFType-0. so here's the timeline -FFXIII, FFVersusXIII, FFAgito announced -FFXIII launched for PS3 and Xbox360 -FFAgito change to FFType-0 for PSP but only for JP launched -FFXIII sequel; FFXIII-2 launced for PS3 and Xbox360 -FFVersusXIII announced for PS4/Xbone, change to FFXV -FFAgito announced, prequel for FFType-0, for iOS/Android -Lightning returns, sequel of FFXIII-2, release next year international for PS3/Xbox360 and now, waiting for Agito, most likely next year, then FFXV and our beloved KH3 sorry for my bad grammar.

just remember that before KH3 release, FFXV must release first, If they're going to release KH3 in early 2015, FFXV should be release in 2014. if FFXV is going to be release in 2014, we should hear the update in FFXV now. So this is my prediction: FFXV will be release in early 2015 in Japan (then next year, there will be a lot of FFXV news), later in NA/EU/PAL at the same time, KH3 will have a lot of trailers (just like they did for lightning returns and ffxhd) KH3 will be release in early 2016 in japan, later in NA/EU/PAL BUT, simce Nomura-san promises to us that SQEX will release KH game every year, so I believe that KH3 will be release in 2015, since 2.5 will be most likely to be release next year. so I guess 2014 will be a busy year for Nomura-san, can't wait for FFXV and KH3 updates!

for me it's better if they made it like ffxiii instead of each story for each character like BbS, it wil be easy to follow the story fo example after sora and co going to traverse town, after finish, continue with riku's story at the castle oblivion, then sora again, meet aqua, then play as aqua along side with sora then meet riku at a certain world. different characters while keep the story flows. we play different character at different events. Something like drop system but not switching it.

well FOR ME, nintendo and xbox&ps can't be rival because nintendo has its own uniqueness. its game also quite diff with the other two. there's no mario and zelda, pokemon etc for ps&xb, while there's a lot of ps3 game that can be played on xbox 360. it depends on the game. no matter how much I love playstation console, because of kh I bought 3DS instead of Vita. now I'm hoping there's no KH game of Vita > this generation we see a lot of similarity between ps4, xbone and now there's steam. look at Wii U, it has its own uniqueness. people can bought xbone or ps4 for FF but we need to buy wii u for zelda. Wii U might be the best of this generation, well still it depends on the game. a console can't sell if there's no good games. by the way, I choose ps4 to win this generation

I'm currently playing FF3, it's very useful to kill time like waiting for bus etc..

maybe one day If I have no time to play KH games because of work and family after graduate, I will watch the cutscenes with my children

they don't need to leave the iOS and Anroid market, it can be their side income, plus now people around the world can finally play classic FF games. People make money a lot by making softwares for iOS and Android. I really like the new SQEX President. Since then they keep updating the games that their currently making, look at LR and FFXIV, they keep making new trailers, fan meetings etc. finally after so many years we can see Nomura-san again on the stage, more interview on new KH games recently. Cant wait for FFXV and KH3!
