Right? Her situation is so mysterious...Like everyone's has had a little tease of their role in the story. Even Xion who no one remembers. Why is Naminé's role shrouded in mystery? I really wonder what Nomura's cooking.

Is it necessary to have a connection to darkness to summon a corridor of darkness? Because KH2 makes it clear that nobodies aren't beings of darkness or beings of light but beings of nothingness so what would their connection be to darkness?

Imagine if they actually do that in the game during that cutscene. That would make her so much more terrifying it would explain why she's scaring the crap out of Riku. I've never seen him run from any enemy. I cannot wait to see them. They're going to be great.

That’s a possibility. I don’t know how that would work since Naminé’s birth situation was really unique.

I was actually thinking about that like 2 minutes ago and I think he’ll be playable in Twilight Town, in the tutorial. Nomura said Twilight Town would be the tutorial world and we know Sora is headed to Olympus so we probably won’t be playing as Sora in the tutorial. We also that the only way to get to the RoD is to wait for a portal to appear in the Realm Between, that Twilight Town is in the Realm Between and that Riku is headed to the RoD. So my guess is that Riku will be playable in Twiligh Town as he tries to get to the RoD. I also think he might be playable in the Keyblade Graveyard...just cause.

I don’t know about that, I’m not a fan of rehashing storylines. Plus I just remembered Naminé isn’t actually in Twilight Town, she’s back within Kairi so Xehanort would have to locate and get a hold of Kairi (which might be really hard) to get Naminé.

Exactly! There are a lot of Disney villains out there but I don't think any of them are as iconic as Maleficent.

I don't think Dark Mode is going to return. I do think he'll be playable for a good amount of time, like 2-3 hours, but for the most part I think we'll be playing as Sora. And Riku will mostly be playable in the RoD and maybe a little in the Keyblade Graveyard as well.

In the past few days, we've been theorizing about the story and the characters' role in KHIII. Pretty much every character's name has come up, from Riku Replica to Sora and even the Final Fantasy characters like Leon. But we haven't talked much about Naminé and there's a clear reason why. We haven't seen her in any promotional material except for the cover art. The cover art seems to hint that she will have a role in the story but we haven't seen any footage of her anywhere. In my opinion, it's either because she has a REALLY big role in the story and Nomura really wants it to surprise us or it might be because she has a REALLY small role in the story and they don't have much of her to show. Last time we saw her she was in Twilight Town and we know Sora will be going there. We also know the tutorial takes place in Twilight Town. Is Naminé going to appear in the tutorial section of the game? Will she play a role in Roxas' return? I seriously wonder what her role is going to be...What's your take on Naminé's role in the story?

That's true. There's no build up or context for a plot-twist like that. But what about Xion/Roxas? They've never been put in a position of despair and they turned their backs on the Organization once they learned what they were truly about...Why would it make sense for them to go to the dark side and not Naminé?

Oh, sad to hear it. I really had no idea. Lumiere is truly an iconic character so he's left his mark on the world for sure.

That's unfortunate. But they could always find someone new to voice Sa'Luk. I mean, Xehanort's voice actor also passed but they still found someone that fits the role.

I've actually seen a few people wanting to see Agrabah return. I think it would be great. It's different enough from the other worlds' setting and the "Aladdin and the King of Thieves" storyline could be used for the world to finish off the trilogy. I would enjoy seeing Agrabah return.

From what I remember of that trailer, I think it came out at night in Eastern Time. So I stayed up to watch it and I could barely sleep afterwards 'cause I was so excited. And I honestly thought the character models were perfect back then. But Square totally surpassed my expectations. Can't wait for the game!

Yeah but using the same tricks over and over again in a story makes them lose their impact which is why I don't think it'll happen again.

The official summaries are...very poetic? What I mean is, from what I saw, they're very vague and don't explain much. If you have a lot of time on your hands, Everglow on Youtube has created a full "cinematic playthrough" of the KH series in chronological order. All the details are there. As for KH X...we still don't know how relevant it is to KHIII but you can watch the KHX Back Cover movie and some KHUX cutscenes to catch up. Wow, love how it transitions seamlessly (some people mix songs without really making sure it's seamless so this is nice to...hear). I also love that you used the japanese ending. I like the hook in English, but the japanese one, melodically and rhythmically, goes so well with the rhythm of the song.

I was wondering about how Daybreak Town played into all of this as well...But it seems like Scala Ad Caelum is a post Keyblade War world (that is where YMX and Eraqus are seen playing chess right?), so maybe Xehanort just summoned Scala Ad Caelum in the Keyblade Graveyard? And how does the Land of Departure play into all of this. I am confusion.
