Did you play blood money all the way through? There are plenty of levels where you had multiple options to take out a target. For example the level in the opera you could snipe from the balcony, you could set explosives on the over head lights so they fall on the target, you could replace the world war 2 pistol prop used by the actor playing the executioner with an actual pistol. The way you start to describe absolution is just how i remember blood money. Though i do agree that absolution is a much much easier game if you are into that. I grew up playing games like splinter cell so i never had any problems with the difficulty.
