I won't blame anyone entertaining the possibility that these might be real...I still remember the FFXV plot leak from 4chan several months before that game's release.
I think it's just a placeholder, since his face was never intended to be revealed at this point in time (if ever). Case in point: Young Xehanort in BBS used Saix's model as a placeholder and turned out to look completely different.
KHI's note on that was "When asked if Lauriam is Marluxia, Nomura merely answers 'Lauriam is Lauriam'", so possibly it's just Nomura being coy for whatever reason and not necessarily a hard statement.

A bit of searching around on Twitter tells me that flower is called the bleeding heart vine...complete with spoilerrific symbolism.
There's a red outfit peeking under that coat...also good grief I do not like Ventus's shorter hairstyle at all.
And what plant is the hooded figure holding anyway? It's not a dandelion, and it's not a bird-of-paradise flower...
EDIT: Saw the Twitter update, the flower reference seems to fit with her appearance at least, and they seem to be going for some kind of regal/"classy" theme with her.
...they're the same thing in Japan (ガン -gan, cf. Firagun/Blizzagun/Thundagun in KH1FM/KH2). It's inconsistency on the localisers' part, and far from the only one in the series. FF tier 4 spells are normally ジャ -ja.
Americans are patriotic- But other countries can be too. I read all about Canada Day celebrations a few days ago. But on here there is a huge populace of Americans so what do you expect? lulz
We just had Angry Summer 2: Burning Boogaloo (read: 40°C+ for weeks on end and a crapton of bushfires) recently and it's only going to get worse...only do so if you're prepared to watch your electricity bill skyrocket after leaving the air-con full blast all day.
And this is along the east coast (especially the south-east quadrant from Brisbane to about Adelaide), where the vast majority of us live and is usually more moderate than the inland desert.
