  1. Joshua was now surrounded by people who would actually help him...at least for now. Maybe he'd be abandoned again when the monsters are gone. He appreciated it though, and didn't find the three to be untrustworthy. In fact, he knew one. He knew Sora. Granted, Sora didn't know Joshua, but Joshua's been around the town enough to know a few people. He just, of course, never spoke with them. It was his back that had been clawed, so he couldn't very well clench it to bare pain, but as he lied over other forms of life— of even mere grass, the faint glow of life practically flowed through him, his wounds began closing. The pain remained, but was going away as well....
  2. Joshua froze in fear. Whatever it may have been, something screeched, echoing and ringing in an incredible proximity. He turned pale, almost as much as the creatures that caused him to. The flower he had just cured from shriveling into death simply died instantly now. There was near silence. A trickling of claw-like fingers and slight panting was clear to be heard, among nothing else but his own fear in his breath. Another gave a distant hiss. Another seemed to almost whistle, a bit mysteriously, to the point Joshua couldn't tell the distance of. More creatures came his direction, rattling, more screeching, growling...almost all around...coming in the same direction. His.Nervously, Joshua almost cried of fear, as he hadn't had any experiences with any monsters in a long time. He slumped against his house. It creaked.Everything rushed in his direction, with imminent and swift movement all at once. Joshua nearly screamed...but alas, his voice cracked, speechless due to his circumstance. Desperately, he ran, hearing the incoming sounds of these creatures chase him. He ran ahead as fast as he could-- which, unfortunately, was less so than the creatures pursuing him. In the distance ahead, he saw another creature. Joshua debated against turning back, or another direction, but the creature was destroyed after an arrow shot. He was it's killer [Quint] and tried working up the courage to call for help. His voice was still a bit low, "Hel--"Joshua was cut off, clawed in the back by the first of the creatures to follow him.
  3. (Hrm...I fail to see what you meant bu the Joshua arcana, or my being able to make Josh personas... ) With a shy smile, Joshua nodded. "...Okay." He got up and quietly walked to where Walter was, bringing his blankets and pillow with him. Just now, he looked back, seeing an absence of Ryonne. A bit far, but upon a bit of focus, it was clear no one was there. But...where did he go...? Assuming he had just left to use the restroom or something, but still a bit worried, Joshua lied back down by Walter.
  4. A fear of heights? Was it after you ruined the DWMA's symmetry?
  5. Joshua sat against the wall of his old home, fiddling with the grass and flowers strewn around. There was no other home, so...perhaps it still was his home. But...his home...with no family any longer. "Huh...?" He inquired at the sudden blooming of a withered flower. A celandine, bright and yellow, vivid with life and ardor. And yet, the dark shadow of the floating continent seemed to be placed with the sun so that such shadow loomed over it all. Not far from was the wall separating Rainfall and the the wildnerness. He could even look up to see one of the watchtowers. Rainfall. It was a...fitting name.
  6. Neeeekkkkooooo-chaaaaaannnnn, I haven't forgotten about the 1x1 we were thinking of for after our Bibliotheca. I was just listening to some Ib soundtracks and my mind exploded with ideas
  7. (Ooooh I love my roleplaying...clairvoyance) "Sorry...." Noah apologized, only slight sincerity in his voice. He saw the irony in having the Book of Lust burned, just as those lustful were tormented in Hell, according to Inferno of The Divine Comedy, anyway. "I don't see very many left...a few were just active or abolished, and over ten of them just...vanished."Dante nodded, seeing Hiro's reluctance, and took his key for the first time in quite awhile. "I ask of thee--" Dante stopped, his eyes glowed a shining gold once again.......Margaret looked to Aisling, just as she finished her sentence. A golden silhouette vanished as it came into contact with Aisling.Dante's expression grew into a grin. His soft, delicate, elegant, and ominous voice boomed in Aisling's head. "...So...you've finally decided to care about yourself, for once?"
  8. Name: Joshua Akira Age: 11 Appearance: Side: Protagonists/Heroes Weapons: Knows how to use a bow and arrow, but does not own one Personality: As innocent, polite, and sincere he is-- Joshua's life is tarnished by the catastrophe of the world. There are several interpretations of 'innocence,' and many of those were lost while some remained with his childish demeanor. His sorrow shows clearly when something triggers it, but otherwise, is passive yet overshadowed by joy-- be it genuine or fake. In such a way, he does his best to cling himself to his life before the catastrophe, trying to have the same personality. Bio: There was never anythings particularly special about Joshua, nor his family, for that matter. He was intelligent-- even skipped a few grades, and overall very wise for his age. Not that it mattered. His parents and ancestors preceding him never did much that mattered either, all of their hopes were thrown on to him. Evidently, Joshua was never one to converse with his family all too much, not even his parents, unless spoken to. He had friends, but they weren't completely trustworthy, and he was never with them outside of school. When the world's catastrophe took place, his family was mostly unaffected, themselves, relatively save. Soon after-- the survivors, out of desperation, out of despair-- took everything. They were a wealthy family-- a prime target. Murder, no, massacre took place, and Joshua's first innocence was taken along with everything and everyone around him. He has nothing against the monsters that wreck the world, but does against the humans that inhabit it. Name: Morgan "Etiam Vinctum" Age: 24 Appearance: , Side: Antagonists/Villains Weapons: Sword: A carbon black-bladed and hilted rapier-- the hilt shaped as a flamel. She also knows how to wield most other weapons, if she can get her hands on one from another. Powers: Monster control (does this include summoning them?) Personality: Morgan's prime point of personality is her magnanimous and condescending nature, swollen with her prideful hubris and superior among others-- but so chastise and giving of a person mere moments after. She claims to be a paragon, the archetypal apotheosis for all future life forms to follow. Not a paragon of just virtue, but also of sin. Her extremist religiousness with herself bring incredibly malicious pursuits and endeavors. By following them, she will turn this catastrophe into evermore a cataclysm. Bio: Black-- the color representing the embodiment of nothingness, of a lack of emotion, or even of death. Morgan has been clad in black clothing far too many times, it represented her sadness, the dread of death she has witnessed and attended. So many times, too many times, it no longer represented her sadness. It represented her life-- it represented her. But the catastrophe was bound to happen. So many other people to be clad in the same blackness she had, mourning over the deaths of others while Morgan was constantly questioned, after all of her actions: "What is there for you to fight for?" There was never anything to. And still is...but she is now the paragon of all existence. Immune to the blackness that consumed her life and replaced it with melancholy. She became an angel, and at the same time, a demon. But when would she be rewarded for her virtues? When would she be punished for her sins? ...Who would? God has a plan for everyone. But who does it benefit? "Everyone?" Or himself? The outcome wouldn't matter, Morgan had to become her own harbinger of reward and punishment. Petty humans' weeps and cries were always heard from her, just as the world heard as well. But the world never cared about anyone, and neither did she. She is the archetype of all life and existence, the true paragon. Mentally...emotionally...invincible. Earth
  9. Fiiiiiine but I'll probably have two antagonists if Daniel's okay with that. And yes, I'll have Joshua here
  10. I shall sign up soon, Daniel! You very seldom make roleplays, from what I can recall. I'll likely use Healing since Hydrokinesis is taken, and as most should know, an antagonist's spot Or all three
  11. (I don't think so, actually) "Perhaps so— should we?" Dante asked Hiro. It was always reluctant of her to grant permission for the opening of the Bibliotheca. "Much more efficient and...safe than with Isaac, regardless." Margaret listened in, hearing of Aisling's angst. While she honestly didn't care all too much, she was practically obliged to, being the 'adult.' Margaret unlocked and opened up the sidecar for Aisling, setting Joshua in. "What's wrong, Aisling?" "Yeah, I'm fine," Noah answered irritatingly, "Just aching." He continued walking ay a relatively fast pace, searching for another Phantom Book presence. "Let's just hurry and burn this disgusting thing," he stated coldly, referencung the Book he held just now.
  12. "Pinky swear." Joshua agreed, crossing his and Walter's two pinky fingers. In comparison, Walter's was much bigger than Joshua's, but that seemed to give him simply more of a feeling that he had a big brother now.
  13. Joshua smiled with genuine joy, hugging Walter, and giggling for a moment. "Heh, you're going to wake everyone up, Walter." He smiled, glancing back really to see if anyone had awoken. Ryonne was of the furthest from them, so he couldn't tell whether Ryonne was there or not. "Just talk to me if you're ever sad, okay?" He asked of Walter, happy that he was too.
  14. Joshua gulped, unsure of what to say. He sat upright, but still mostly shrouded in a blanket. "...We each only have one memory, Walter...." he began nervously, "I'm sorry...your's was a bad one...." he hesitated, remembering he hadn't told anyone much of his memory yet. "...But it's only one. ...Things...might be better...or maybe just for good reasons. I just...don't want you to be sad...please. Right now, you're the only one here I care about."
  15. Eyes drowsy yet awake, Joshua tried sleeping already— to no avail. He had lied down away from everyone else, except Walter. The only trustworthy one to him, so far. Even so, he realized neither of them had gone to sleep yet, Joshua had just pretended, though. The memories he had pained him, or rather, memory. His somewhat joyful attitude as of usual was almost always feigned. He turned, and saw Walter not hiding any pain. Clear as day, even if it wasn't at the time. "...A-are you okay, Walter...?" He whispered quietly, only.to him. He knew Walter wasn't...just needed a hopeful straight anwer.
  16. I've always hated society in general, and never really knew much of the indolent endeavors they pursue, much less act in them. I tend to just ignore them, but it wouldn't be all too plausible to ignore them as the 'victim,' per se. Then again, I've never been one much of either love or lust, for reasons unknown to me, and so I fail to perceive what goes on in their minds. Also, I feel the need to reply to this: I find it great that you may have less people like that to deal with than I might witness, but from my perspective, I honestly find that most guys are like that. It's incredibly disappointing, and I suppose that's why I dislike so many people, I'm quite easily discerned from others' personalities.
  17. (Yes, I know...I use it for a bit of representation on a few of my characters here....)"Unfortunately, Hiro," Dante began hesitantly, "That is all I can think of doing." He looked out, as if past the door. "I, however, know incredibly little of any surgical operation. While I know someone who does...we cannot afford to trust him."Margaret laughed. "Joshua's a feather. It's fine, I got him." She beckoned Anthea and Aisling to follow as she headed out the empty room towards the motorcycle. The problem was figuring where to go to get mended for their two wounds. Noah stood up, somewhat painfully, imminently covering his keyhole again, looking at the man with pity. "Come on Elda. And there's no way I'm going back through that place again," he said with disgust, grabbing the nearest thing he saw, not caring what it was, and chucking it at a nearby window, breaking it. Leading outside, Noah took the Phantom Book and began heading out before they would be heard and seen by anyone else.
  18. And so Morgan truly was stuck with this group. Even Derik wasn't so good as a member, while he wasn't partially insane, he was too independent. Lenient to only himself, but at the very least, this group had optimism. She looked around, gazing into the hardly visible barriers blockading the camp all-around-- a dome.Noah's eyes drifted off into what appeared to be nothing. He listened to the voice again, but said not a word, as usual. (We're being forced to rest...? We were to get to our destination as quickly as possible....) Noah complaint, but in his own head. The chirping of birds still echoed past the barrier and was quite peaceful, a natural lullaby. Perhaps it'd help, at least considering the barrier should also block predators from entering.Past, the meadow, Joshua ate rather slowly, his stomach slowly bulking with food, which on its own lulled him to a childish drowsiness. His eyes weighed down, but not awfully much-- yet, at least. At the same time, his eyes weighed down with hidden sorrow, he had nothing to think about but the present time, and the past-- the past consisting of only one thing so far. It filled him with dread. As soon as Sylar entered, Lira examined his memories. She laughed, for obvious reasons, but he knew he was toying with them. "Perhaps next time, you should take a power in which will nullify the strength of a coconut. And a little girl, while you're at it." Lira scoffed. Isaac gave a chuckle as well, playfully teasing Sylar. "You've done well enough to let those two groups know they have an enemy to worry about. You can take a break, if you'd like, and us three can each handle the groups for now...." Lira decided, Isaac licking his lips without speaking. He clearly began thinking of what to do. "...They are our prisoners."
  19. Morgan stood atop the sand dune, one of only two or three people with a decent amount of sanity. She glanced to everyone, Rexon rolling around in the sand. It got all over him— and he became a metaphorical armadillo. Morgan sighed. She looked at Mes, the child who went straight for the man's privates when stunned. Morgan sighed. She looked at Harry, who had proclaimed love without memory, and to a fourteen-year old girl. Sounding very hebephilic. Morgan sighed. Auron seemed relatively normal, but he looked at what just happened with such optimism that it seems like he'll try to do so next time, hinself. Morgan sighed. Derik was actually doing something productive, but at his individual benefit, and she walked over to him calmly. She read his sins, examining him, yet approving: "You are right to avoid being with this group, in many ways."
  20. "I suppose so. While I'd likely to admit to Pride as well, the Phantom was referring to what we dealt with here-- gluttony. I'm unsure as to how that will bring us our deceit, of course. We have yet to see what exactly it meant, however...." Dante looked back at the man. "We must find a way to get the Phantom Book out of him. Without killing him would be preferable....""So that's what he gave...I guess that's a little disappointing for now. We'll have to make sure nothing got into you that may kill you, Aisling, can you walk?" Margaret asked. She picked up Joshua, resting him as he clung to her shoulders almost naturally. This was probably the kindest Margaret had shown.Noah's eyes widened painfully as Elda reached into the keyhole, the pain was relentless. It didn't sting, didn't burn, didn't shock-- it simply hurt. He clearly relaxed a bit when it was over, despite the still aching pain that hung after the Book of Purity was taken. Like an infant just given a bottle or pacifier to stop their crying, Noah's pain eased, as he winced before his eyes drifted down almost tiresomely. He smiled at Elda anyway, beckoning her to read the book.
  21. Roleplaying Section of course! I'd take on many characters and really just antagonize the adventures much of the time. And I have to live in that islamd with Neko-chan and Sikota! They own me after all One woman and one man from each Forum section except the Capitol [Kingdom Hearts series section] would be forced to The Hunger Games every year as punishment for rebellion. The Forum Games section has already been annihilated and the Random section lies the largest threat, if they weren't scurrying around everywhere randomly.
  22. My voice actually doesn't really seem to crack
