    You mean you get a means to fight back in this game? Hells yeah! I remember the playthrough I saw had them backtrack through the entire floor just to avoid that boy ghost.

    Yeah. I don't know if you'll go as far as finding a tommy gun to mow down enemies, but there's definitely a battle mechanic in it now. That's another thing I'm a bit unsure about, since you have to equip items or weapons manually rather than it being something that's passive, but I don't mean to complain. This isn't a Sierra game where bizarre puzzle solving logic applies.

    Actually, I just remembered that I don't like combat in survival horror. If you're able to fight, it means you need to fight and the mechanics are usually broken. Noooooooo. I'd rather have puzzles.
