    Nope 8. They release it every 2 generations after Gen 2.

    Gen 4 had Glaceon and Leafeon.

    Gen 6 had Sylveon.

    Gen 8 will have Dragon-Eevee and maybe even more.

    They might add it in 7th Generation, due to them dropping the tradition for 2 Eeveelutions every 2 Generations in Gen 6, but looking at the current tradition, I'd say the chance is not that high.

    ok i just found a sparkling spot in route 12 that looks like there a mega stone there. i ineracted with it but nothing happened. i found it in between 8 and 9. the conditions are perfect but i cant get it. not to mention i think im the first one to find this becouse i didnt see anything on the internet about it.

    There isn't any news on when it will launch outside Japan, but I'm pretty sure it'll launch after X/Y in Japan, so it's safe to assume it'll be released a month or two after X/Y are.

    Just to let everyone know that only a few Pokémon would be able to get Mega-evolutions. I'm expecting the starters to get one since Blaziken got one but who knows.

     

    @Cucco

    Mewtwo got one, but it would actually be cool if the baby legendaries got them. Not expecting it since at this point thats a lot of Mega evolutions.
