    The only pokemon game i've played is the little monochromatic 8 bit version inside the actual pokeball.

    point taken but there's no denying that you could still battle and catch pokemon just like trainers. also contests are more fun that gyms in my opinion.

    It's also the main mascot of Pokemon, which is really the reason Pikachu such a big deal.
