  1. I couldn't find another post about this so I hope I'm not repeating a topic already discussed. And I hope I'm not stating something that was really obvious to everyone else. Also if you are not up to date on the Union Cross NA storyline then look away now to avoid spoilers. I was going through a list of all currently known Keyblade Masters in my head the other day (as you do) when I suddenly realised something that I'd never thought about before. Ventus is a Keyblade Master! Probably, anyway. How is he a Keyblade Master, do you ask? Because in Union Cross he appears as one of the new Union Leaders chosen by the Master of Masters to replace the Foretellers (who are also Keyblade Masters) after they meet their end in the Keyblade War. And when Master Ava first tells Ephemer that he has been chosen to replace her as another one of the new Union Leaders he indicates that this also means he has been made a Master. Therefore if Ephemer has become a Master then we can assume that the other new Union Leaders are also Masters, including Ven. So if Ven is a Keyblade Master then that means - assuming he is one and the same as Ven in Birth By Sleep where he appears slightly older - that the whole time he was training with Aqua and Terra and sharing their dream of becoming Keyblade Masters, he was already a Keyblade Master but just didn't know it. I think this is a pretty interesting realisation when you consider that he is not only younger than Terra and Aqua by a few years (in appearance anyway as we don't actually know how old he is) but he is also weaker than them. It also means that Terra is the only one of the three to have not yet obtained the title of Master despite appearing to be the oldest. That would make him really depressed if he found out! On a slightly different note, why do you think Ven was chosen by the Master of Masters for this role? He says so himself that he's not particularly good at anything and never in the top ranks. He doesn't really seem to be a natural leader either. My guess is that he was chosen for his strong resistance to darkness. Though I also wonder if it's because the Master of Masters knew what lay in his future? Please share your thoughts!
  2. Dream Eaters makes most sense in terms of catching something, but I've actually been thinking about how a Kingdom Hearts Go might work for a while and it would be cool if you defeated Heartless and other enemies by swiping the screen as though you're swiping at them with a keyblade, then at the same time you can collect Dream Eaters to help you take down the Heartless etc. I'd also want treasure chests to pop up in random places as well and have the chance to collect and upgrade different keyblades.
  3. I highly doubt it'd ever happen, but having a Studio Ghibli world would indeed be fun! And the Japanese voice of Haku is the Japanese voice of Sora! However being the Spirit World, don't you think having Dream Eaters as the enemy would make more sense? Good dream eaters are called Spirits after all. Also my current title in Union Cross happens to be Spirited Away!
  4. I can't remember if it made me cry or not but the final scene with Data Roxas was pretty emotional. He may not be the real Roxas but he appeared to feel the same pains, sadness and inner conflicts as the real thing. And Jesse McCartney's voice acting portrayed it all perfectly.
  5. When you say, "The dove scene", do you mean, "The pigeon scene"? I don't remember seeing a dove...
  6. A Duskull (Ghost-type Pokémon, so I voted for Ghost).
  7. Hiro's power is his brain. His ability is to invent really cool stuff and turn a group of science nerds into superheroes.
  8. Tough choice! But this is one of mine. Sorry I just have to give this one an honourable mention too. It's 11 years old so the video quality is terrible but considering its age I think it's brilliant! You have to have watched Muppet Treasure Island to fully appreciate it though.
  9. Me too! The OVA prequel was adorable!
  10. Did you know that Cardcaptor Sakura is continuing with brand new episodes starting this January? Naruto, Clannad, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (the manga more than the animé), Cardcaptor Sakura, Kobato, Fruits Basket, Kimi ni Todoke. I'm probably forgetting one but can't think at the moment.
  11. I'm choosing Riku, not just because I like him but because he's smart enough to know how to get off the island and strong enough to fend off snakes/sea monsters/pirates etc. as well as to carry the logs needed to make the raft we'd escape on.
  12. His intelligence. Only joking! I'm going with what The Key of the Brain said.
  13. Yes why was this not an option? I tried a star fruit once just because it's the closest thing there is to a Paopu fruit. Didn't really think much of the taste though...
  14. Whoops I read KingdomHearts3's comment as yours! Okay, good luck!
  15. Not so fussed about the Frozen part but everything else is exactly what I wish for!
  16. Sorry I didn't reply earlier! Glad you managed it! I actually replayed the quest to remind myself what strategy was best and managed to beat it in just 3 turns this time! Having the Kairi 0.2 medal and a medal with Defense Boost IV helped me a lot.
  17. It's definitely tough but I managed it without continuing (after a number of attempts).
  18. I don't think it's Strelitzia's Nobody because if you look closely you can see a bit of the character's hair over their face which appears to be a side parting rather than a middle fringe like she has. It could be intentionally deceptive though. If the flower the character is holding can be identified that may hold a clue. The closest match I've been able to find so far is a potato flower but I don't think that's it.
  19. I would say Demyx's Somebody, but I think his style is too modern to fit into Union Cross somehow. Having said that anything seems to go in Union Cross so why not? Also Mickey has already appeared in the game.
  20. I can't choose just one! But I know which I'd be least surprised by :
  21. Has anyone else noticed that there are a number of similarities between Moana and Kairi? Of course they look completely different and come from different cultures but they have quite a few other things in common when you think about it. Here's the list of things I've come up with. See if you agree with me: 1. Both Moana and Kairi have names meaning "Ocean". 2. They both live on tropical islands. 3. They both wished to sail away and see what lay beyond their island despite being happy where they lived. 4. They're both the daughters of the island's "chief" (Kairi's the adopted daughter of the mayor). 5. They're both referred to as princesses. 6. They both had grandmothers who told them stories of a spreading darkness over the world along with a prediction that one day that darkness will be defeated. 7. They both like seashells 8. They're both athletic, brave, smart, demonstrate leadership skills and are strong willed yet also kind and empathetic. 9. They both possess special "hearts" that impact on the fate of the world (the heart of Te Fiti and Kairi's heart of pure light). 10. They both appear to mainly have male friends. I could probably think of other things (like how they both sit on bent over trees by the sea) but that might be stretching it a bit far. The point is if Moana appeared in KH3 I think she could become Kairi's best friend.
  22. Probably my own original Kingdom Hearts character (either my Union Cross character or one I invented to live in the same time as Sora and co). Though if I had to choose an official character it'd be Kairi as she's the only female who wields a keyblade and isn't currently in a bad situation.
  23. Sorry ignore my earlier comment. I was thinking of book 7, not book 5!
  24. They were using it as their hideout. Ron and Hermione had both run away from home to help Harry find the Deathly Hallows and they needed somewhere safe from the Death Eaters to stay so they went to Sirius' house which Harry now owned.
