Songs that make you think of Kingdom Hearts
"When Can I See You Again?" by Owl City. Hence why I'm currently working on my second gmv with that song. It sounds like a song Sora sings each time he leaves a world and says goodbye to the friends he's made there. "It's been fun but now I've got to go....but before I hit the road I gotta know when can we do this again?" In my new gmv I have Eugene/Flynn reaching out a hand to Sora for the line, "Your sidekick needs you". So perfect!

Also her outfit looks a lot like old Xehanort's outfit. It's the same colour scheme, down to the silver hair. When I first saw her I wondered if she was his sister. That seems unlikely as they're from different worlds but I do think they're connected in some way.

True, but it is implied that by the time of KH1 Riku/Sora and Mickey are the only known keyblade wielders left (not counting Yen Sid) as far as anyone seems to know. And since Riku and Sora were fighting over one keyblade at the time it was technically only two known active wielders. So all other wielders were either lost (like Aqua, Terra and Ven), retired or had died, otherwise Yen Sid would have called on them for help by now.

I'm thinking some terrible event occurred which wiped out not just them but everyone living in Scala Ad Caelum except Eraqus and Xehanort which caused them to abandon that world. There were a lot of buildings in that place and numerous other islands with more buildings on each one so obviously there were a lot of other people living there at some point yet when Sora goes there it's deserted. There must have been a reason. Maybe the event which wiped everyone out was what caused Xehanort to turn to darkness. It was his way of coping with the grief.

Character/Animation style?
I believe Nomura also said somewhere that Union Cross is meant to have a storybook-style to its art. As it's all about the "age of fairytales" it's meant to look like an animated picture book.

Eight new Kingdom Hearts Dark Road screenshots released; new gameplay and story information revealed
Does anyone else wonder if we'll get to see a young Yen Sid in this game? He was an old friend of Eraqus and Xehanort and a former keyblade master after all so it would be great if he made an appearance as a keyblade wielder here. I even wonder if he could actually be Hermod with an alias name (probably not). Disney might not allow that though.

Which Live-Action Disney film would you like to see become a world in Kingdom Hearts?
To be honest, I don't think I've ever seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit... I voted for Enchanted because I thought it'd be fun to jump between a cartoon world and the 'real' world and see everyone in the real world staring at Donald and Goofy. I can't see how Mary Poppins would work as a KH world, unless perhaps as a mini games-world like Winnie the Pooh.

Surviving Self-Isolation with Sora
If your country is currently in lockdown and you're struggling to cope with being stuck indoors all day, here's some tips we can learn from Sora to help you through it. 1. Stay connected with loved ones. 2. Learn a new skill. 3. Play videogames, especially those with a social element. 4. But don't forget to keep fit! 5. Eat healthily... 6. And sleep well. 7. Dressing up can be fun! At least change out of your pyjamas now and then. 8. Most importantly, stay positive no matter what! 9. Looking forward to the day you will get to be together again.

There's a number of online guides for beating them. I've yet to beat Luxord, Terranort, Xemnas, Xehanort and Xion though.

Video Discussion: you are my love
I love Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle! It shares a number of similarities with Kingdom Hearts too. Nice video but it does sound like the timing of your vocals with the music went a bit off in the chorus.

Peek Inside the KHUX Novel
Despite not being officially released until the 24th, my copy still arrived in time to be given to me for Christmas! I'm only on Chapter 3 so far so there are no spoilers in this article but I thought I'd just share some photos and info that I've obtained so far for anyone interested in knowing what the book is like. As has already been indicated in the book's blurb, the book is narrated by Chirithy who tells the story of the Player character in Union Cross from a second person perspective, in other words he refers to the Player as "You". One interesting thing to note is that in the book the player belongs to the Anguis union whilst Ephemer is from Unicornis (my own character is in Vulpes with Ephemer being from Leopardus). My guess as to why Anguis was chosen is because Invi doesn't really appear much in the story compared to the other Foretellers unless you're from her union. The story starts off with Chirithy talking about how he came into being, combining his narrative from the game with the scene in Backstory when the Master of Masters introduces him to the Foretellers. Here though we get to learn what he was thinking whilst inside that test tube thing for the first time. Chirithy then goes on to describe how the Player got their Keyblade and went on their first mission to Dwarf Woodlands, following which he then describes how the Player met Mickey, Donald and Goofy. In between Chirithy's narratives of the Player's various missions and encounters, more scenes from Backstory are also included like when the Master gives his apprentices their roles. Thus the book is a combination of Union Cross and Backstory. That's as far as I've got so far. There are a couple of interesting little details in the book that I haven't mentioned here and I'm hoping there will be more as the book goes on which may reveal things previously unknown or give clarification to story details that have been glossed over. I'll let you discover those on your own though. Hope you all have a great Christmas as we look forward to the KH3 DLC and may your heart be your guiding key!

Setup help
It rather depends on which keyblade you're using, what enemies you're facing and what skills & traits your medals have. Generally though your first slot should have a medal which increases your strength and decreases the enemy's defence as much as possible. Your Xion medal is the best one for that but she doesn't increase upright strength so if you're using a keyblade which supports mainly upright medals your Supernova+ KH III Sora or KH III Riku may be best, or at least have them in the second slot. After that choose whichever medals fit your keyblade's slots that have the greatest strength but read the description of each medal as some are more powerful in later slots and some in earlier slots. Also any medal which deals high damage but doesn't increase your strength should usually be placed in slot 5 or 6, like Guardian Form Sora. Your main focus first though should really be to give your strongest medals decent skills. Xion should either have Second Chance or a Defence Boost Max attached to it as it's pretty rubbish in terms of how much damage it deals on its own so don't give it an Attack Boost skill. Also merge your trait medals with any matching normal medals to power them up, like KH III Sora & Youth in Black. Hope this helps!
