  1. When I was able to, so somewhere between 1997-2000.
  2. DDD is a step forward. Everyone was complaining when they kept making the "side games" but DDD is forward in time. How can it be unnecessary?
  3. It's the same argument people were making about Pokémon back in the day. "If your children play this, they are promoting Satanism, animal cruelty, etc." This is not true whatsoever and we should just take those people's opinions with a grain of salt.
  4. I honestly don't find the story that convoluted. I find it irritating when people say it is. Birth by Sleep and 358/2 Days are NOT side-games. Birth by Sleep is as important to the plot as KH, CoM, KHII, and 3D. It urks me when people call them side-games. Nomura himself refers to them as such. They are very important to the overall plot of the series. The trio from Birth by Sleep have been alluded to since KHII. You say the overall canon of KHII makes sense on its own, but what about Xigbar's comments about, "He used to give me that exact same look," and, "You three don't look half the heroes the others were"? How would you go about explaining that if Birth by Sleep didn't exist? Keep in mind also, KHII came out several years before Birth by Sleep, so for Nomura to already have them in mind means that they are important.
  5. Depends, are you planning on competitively fighting?
  6. I thought you had to do the worlds in order. Enchanted Dominion, then Dwarf Woodlands, then Castle of Dreams. That's when Aqua first shows up and Terra decides to visit Master Yen Sid. Is it really possible to do the worlds in a different order?
  7. I'm with Caity, I've never seen the "Normal version."

  9. Video games are part of who I am, how could I just get rid of it?
  10. Not really, I go on here whenever I feel like it, sometimes to see news, sometimes to look at forums.
  11. My parents have gotten upset at how much time I've spent playing games, but other than that, no.
  12. The guy's lived this long, hasn't he? It's not that I'm not concerned for his health, but he's probably still got a few good years left in him. I'm looking at the positives.
  13. Oh gosh, your background. My eyes...
  14. Who are you in school? I always have been the good, quiet little boy in the corner of the room, silently learning and hardly ever talking.
  15. I spoiled it for myself by reading the plot on Wikipedia.
  16. Like the people posting the definitions, cults are strictly religious. Often times they are fanatics that split off to follow their own beliefs. By that logic, no. They are the beginning of something new, they couldn't have possibly split off from anything. They're also not religious.
  17. Kingdom Hearts II is the fan-favorite Kingdom Hearts game. Kingdom Hearts II FM+ is immensely popular. Birth by Sleep is also huge in the series, Final Mix even more so. I think the game will sell amazingly, far surpassing 1.5.
  18. Xehanort himself says to Riku, word for word, "The boy chosen by the Keyblade. It was yours first, wasn't it? But you succumbed to the darkness you could not control, and your prize, the Keyblade, passed on to Sora instead. Your mistakes always end up being other people's problems." "Maybe so, but I'm here to change all of that." - Riku "Once again, you performed predictably. Although on a grander scale than I imagined." "If you're feeling so chatty, let's skip to the part where you reveal what this is all about." "I don't know how you did it, but you really have found a way to trap Darkness inside your heart, and a boy who is immune to Darkness is no use to us." Xehanort himself acknowledged Riku's immunity to Darkness. Meaning that Riku cannot be affected by Darkness at all. They were originally going to pick Riku, but he became obsolete with his ability to wield the Darkness as explained in Reverse/Rebirth. They, like the Keyblade, moved on to Sora when Riku was out of the picture. Like everyone else is saying, it's not that Sora is more susceptible to Darkness, it's that he doesn't have the immunity that Riku has. Also, you made the argument that Sora fell into Darkness because he was kidnapped. That's not true either. He fell into Darkness because Xehanort led him down a path that led to Darkness. He simply tempted Sora with something that Sora couldn't refuse. He put people in front of him that were scarred by painful memories and whose hearts were calling out to him. In so doing, they put him to sleep and gradually weakened him by way of Sora's dreams. As Xigbar explains, it was Sora that ruined himself by tiring himself out and making him unable to fight. All they had to do was put him to sleep and Sora's heart did the rest.
  19. It'd be weird seeing a KH game on an Xbox. I'm on the fence about it.
  20. As much as I love Yoko Shimomura, I can't really be excited for something I don't know about.
