Oh, okay. Most DQ games don't actually have many customization options in terms of appearance, as far as I know. I believe that VIII (and only with Jessica), IX, X, and maybe XI (don't remember off the top of my head) are the only ones where you can do that.

Switching characters was really fun in the demo. Hyrule Warriors Wii U never had that (but the 3DS version will, apparently...), so I never got to try it until DQH. (I just hope that DQH becomes a best-seller, too, or no more DQ outside Japan...)

Basically Nintendo's response to Skylanders/Disney Infinity, although a lot of amiibo collectors (myself included) don't care for those other figures.

Man. That would be sweet. I bought Shovel Knight the other day, then immediately I accidentally burned my hand, so I haven't been able to play it much. That "catch her!" Bit tottaly gave me the "feels" though. He's perfect for smash too.

I first played it back in Spring, and it became my new favorite 2D Platformer very quickly. I definitely couldn't stop thinking about how well he'd fit into Smash!

 

Also, hopefully your hand heals soon, if it hasn't already. Hand injuries are some of the worst injuries...

Yeah, he has all those cool gadgets he could use as Special attacks and he would totally have a reflect attack.

Why?

My old TV service ended, and the new one still needs to be set up so I can watch it (My parents have parental controls on the TV for my younger brothers. I can watch adult shows, although my parents are the ones who know the password to bypass that and I completely forgot to ask them to help with that). I'll probably just try to find it online, since I know Toonami episodes go on their site after airing.

Apparently Nintendo screws up when saying what amiibo are compatible with what games, so this might not actually be the case... Regardless I seriously hope that they accidentally leaked Shovel Knight for Smash because I NEED to see him in it.

@Silent Hero I don't have a way to play it at the moment, anyway. I've considered trying to rent it when I get a PS4, although I was hoping for more singleplayer content in it, especially since online play requires a paid subscription.

I'll do that, assuming that I can get this working. The download slowed down a lot once it hit 32%... Now it's at 46%. I wish this was available through Steam, since I really don't like Origin, but oh well.

It wasn't an exclusive at all, which is why I'm confused that TRU lists it as one. I'm assuming it just means that they're the only store that's restocking it.

Toriyama also does the art for the Dragon Quest games, even the new ones. He mostly sticks to DB, but he's worked on a couple of games.
