I think it is because of the photos. Like for FFXV (yeark). Games that have in-game save menu have one file on the ps4 (for the 9 slots). Thus, you need to know the size in advance. If you have only data: 99 slots is small, but if you save pictures as well, then you need to allocate 500mb per slot in advance. That's why it is written 50gb needed on disc even though the game is 40gb. 10gb is for the save file that is preallocated to contain all the pictures. But I agree, it SUCKS!

I mean what is almost certain is that there would be no disney world as a DLC, since it would require way to much back and forth and endless discussions with Disney. Final Mix in the past only expanded the main story.

It pretty much means that there will be a final mix dlc in something like 3-6 months. And maybe: What do you think?

That's what I meant by Disney edition. You can be sure that now that Disney is satisfied with the base product, Square is already working on the final mix version with more focus on the original worlds. I can easily see new worlds as part of future dlc that expand the gameplay like the cavern of remembrance did. I think of If we think about it, it is not that new. The additional content of previous games always improved the original plot, giving more depth to the gameplay. I am not worried at all. Remember when they announced that they would redo chain of memories from scratch on ps2, how crazy people were.

On another forum someone said to me: yes it is more disney but the kh story evolves within those worlds. In KH2 the disney worlds had no impact on the main plot. Almost like a filler. In kh3 apparently, you can have crazy plot information in the middle of a disney world. So for sure it is a change.

Epic doesn't mean good writing. But Kingdom Hearts is not known for its writing quality. It is known for the lore and the characters that are very expressive and make you feel intense emotions. And Kingdom Hearts principle has been build on trying insane concepts no one ever tried. So in a sense it is good that they try things, no matter how controversial they end up among the community.

I don't know what the ending is either. But, I remember one thing: kh2 had only 9 minutes of cutscenes featuring Axel, while kh2fm expanded quite a lot some obscure plot points. So, keep in mind that what we will get in one week is the disney edition. The editor's cut will come during the year.

It was very blurry on ps3 and let me worried for 2.5 results. Actually, all the episode have a very good quality now. Maybe birth by sleep is still a bit behind the others.

I recently replayed chain of memories on my old ps3 and I realised how much improvement the ps4 version brought to this game. So yes, we still have the 720p cutscenes video and I hope that one day this could get fixed to improve the quality), but check out these comparison screenshots I made. PS3 PS4 It's mosty the bluriness of the 2D textures that has been improved. Also all cards are now in much better quality too. Did you guys noticed this change? And don't answer: no because I don't play chain of memories.

partial data correction: does that mean there will be more? I know that people don't like this updates since they like to have everything on disc, but personally I like to know that the game I play and love is still polished by the devs which makes it live longer in our heart and allow them to take our feedback. It's a bit like a collaboration work.

The twitter account released the patch 1.0.1 release notes. It seems there will be one new feature per day until the first of february. 29 january: memory archive and several data fixes (probably adjusting difficulty) 30 january: epilogue 31 january: secret ending if you have fully completed the game That's it for now. They precise that the main game allows to go from beginning to the ending without internet connection but a connection is required to download the improvements and secret stuffs.

What I like about Kingdom Hearts is that it never talk about couples. It talks about friendship. So based on that, every interpretation is possible. I hope it won't happen in 3. This would make the conclusion so cliché and uninspired.
