It could be possible, but I see them revisiting and messing up the X story first, and then head over to Final Fantasy VII. Though the plot may feel quite similar to Crisis Core, if Genesis is back. Since he will probably be trying to recreate "Loveless", once again, specially since in that secret ending in Dirge of Cerberus, he says: "is not yet time for slumber" Which means the recreation of Loveless, should still be in the 4th Act, letting a space for Genesis to finish the 5th Act. Kid Icarus Uprising, would be a good choice. It has quite good gameplay, a great story and characters, and can bring quite some laughs, in every chapter.

They should give it a rest, atleast till they find someone to replace Toriyama, Nomura can't take the charge of two of Square Enix's biggest franchises by himself, or the either give Final Fantasy a rest or they give it to Kingdom Hearts, one of the two most take a rest, specially Finaly Fantasy. The series have been a cash cow for too long, they should give the series some years of rest, no spin-off, no main title, no anything, just let it rest for some years. But if they continue milking it, they should atleast release the small remakes they have been throwing for iOS, in the 3DS, WiiU or PS3, where they actually have a fanbase and could attract more audience to the games.

I wouldn't call that growing, 1,2,3 and 8 are mere fads that are bound to die, and 9 is of those games you play once and then forget about it, 4 sold thanks to Despicable Me 2 and how everyone adore the freaking Minions. There's really no growth, aside from fads and hype/fanatism buying. How is it good? Companies will believe their actually is a market in smartphones and Tablets and drive themselves to death, the only big name in that list is EA, and they still presented losses, even when they could get a game in the top 10 app game sold, imagine how bad it must be going for other companies, like Square Enix, which are driving themselves the graveyard, by ignoring their fans and throwing literally everything on smarthphones and tablets.

And? The Vita is deader than the WiiU, 40 million 3DS users cannot sustain the market by themselves, the numbers are actually fine seeing how the only revenue for handheld gaming is coming from around 40 million users, so this is not really a gigantic victory for app game sales, at best it could receive a hooray for beating a mere 40 something milllion users. Yes, but the case is that even if they are doing a smart move, they are still missing something, they are treating their people as 2nd tier consumers, which will hurt their sells, the same way that the Xbox releasing first in places other than America, will hurt it sells. But anyway, we can't really count on the PS4 launch to be magnificent in Japan. The PS3, didn't even got to 100,000 on its launch. the PS4, having a more western approach, than compared to the PS3 released, should sell about the same, maybe a bit more, but we cannot expect something big of the launch, the only reason Sony has Japan on the palm of their hands, is because of 3rd parties, if the N64 incident had never happened, they would had never have such a strong grip in Japan, since 3rd parties would still be creating games for Nintendo Consoles, so Nintendo would had been the one with the JRPGs, big Dynasty Warriors titles, more Monster Hunter, etc, while Sony would probably be today in the position that Nintendo is, or even worse since their focus is western gamers, receiving badly done ports, being ignored, etc. Them not releasing in Japan, first, will only hurt them, be it on release or in the long run. They have treated their homeland as 2nd tier consumers, they are releasing with mainly western titles and "hardcore", the only Japanese oriented titles, being mainly ports. the "casuals" seems to have a stronger hold in Japan than the "hardcore" gamers, and the console market has shrinked in Japan. Not only is the population a factor, but also the pride of the Japanese people. Sony decided to release the PS4 in America, before Japan, the nation which Japan have been enemies for quite a long time. With how proudful the Japanese are, I wouldn't be surprise if they see this as treason, and so hurts the sales of the PS4, leaving only the sells of the hardcore fans and those who are interested of some of the little exclusives the consoles will have. The console should take sometime to reach the 2 millions in Japan, if their pride was truly hurt. Though from March onwards and/or when every place gets fully stock and those who are waiting get the console, both Xbox One and PS4, will meet a slump in sells, since exclusives will be scarce, and the only thing that can help them is favoritism, fans and Japan, atleast till exclusives come, but if Sony is able to keep up a good amount of exclusives(something similar to what Nintendo does), the PS2 era should be back, and the PS4 will leave the other two far behind, followed by the WiiU, followed by the Xbox One.

Counting, the Final Mixes and breaking up the ReMIXes, is not any different from what I did. The Final Mixes, are not a whole new game in the series, it is a mere update, with some extras, that would be DLC now aday, so they should not be counted, counting them would be as if you called a game new every time it got a update or you downloaded a DLC for them. Why would you break up the ReMIXes? Refering to what I did, sure they got money and all, but it is a not a new entry to the series, it doesn't continues the story, they are just something on the side, so that Nomura can keep his one year promise and keep the fans occupied, so I don't count them as entry in the series. Ummm, what? Last time I check, the Nintendo games are as important to the story as the Sony games, so they aren't spin-off. They could atleast brought the collections over, with some extras, in compensation for not bringing over KH3, but no, they just ignore part of their fanbase, with some dumb and lame excuses. But anyway, SE should meet its demise, if it continues going the path by which it walks. That's true, they just stay with one audience, unlike the other 2, atleast now they are trying to reach a farther audience, which seemed to have worked, since Final Fantasy XIII, had quite some good sales on Xbox 360, enough to make Square-Enix decide to make their games bi-platform, lets hope they learn and do more similar things, and so everybody will be should be happy, and not only will everything run nicely, but the console wars may even come to a end, well that is if Nintendo, also enters and begin fixing the broken relationships with 3rd party developers.

Atleast, I think that the reason that Xbox doesn't win over the Japan market, is because of the origin behind the console, America. The Japanese are very proud people, it is very doubtful, they would prefer a console from a country that has beaten them in war and isn't from their homeland. It is the opposite for America, the Xbox series of consoles, can set off easily because of patriotism, and easily be infront of a Sony or bad-selling Nintendo console, simply because of that. This proudness of the Japanese people will surely bring a tough situation for the PS4, sure it will do greatly because of the promises of alot of JRPGs, and fans of the console, it was a very bad move from Sony to release the PS4, first in NA, and leave it till February in Japan, after all the fans buy it, it is when the tough situation begins for it, because of the proudness of the Japanese people, and what they probably see as treason.

The WiiU sales continue rising in Japan this past 2 weeks, after the one you posted it jump to 74,903, and this past week to 109k, which brought back the so famous "Nintendo Pac-Man", if the consoles continue seeing this trend of rising 35k each week, the console would end up with around 500k(232k sold at the moment) units sold in Japan for December along, this is all in the hands that ended yesterday and the one that begins today.
