I wondered the same thing a couple years ago. It's best to not question it. Lol. EDIT: It appears the event is based off of Japanese popular culture, so that is why.

Square Enix has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be at the annual Japan Expo, an event held in Paris, France, with a playable demo for all attendees. Japan Expo will be held from July 7th through the 10th. Previously released titles in the Kingdom Hearts series such as Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX have appeared at the event with a playable demo. Sad to see this as KHX's last anniversary event. Honestly, the game was more fun than KHUX (totally honest here). However, the game was just too much for me to handle, so I took the lazy boring way and played KHUX (honestly lack motivation to play most of the time these days). I wish they brought KHX to NA on PC Browsers instead, because the game was so much fun. Hate to see them take it down. I really hope you enjoy the final moments of KHX!

Update: Famitsu has kindly provided us with more details on the new update for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. This includes a new "Proud Mode" setting, allowing players to experience missions on a harder difficulty. Currently, only missions 1-50 are available in proud mode. More will be added on soon. Aside from proud mode, there will be a new "high score" event, where you battle enemies for the highest scores against other players. Those who rank high in the event get a voiced Maleficent medal. Lastly, the second half of the new Alice event has begun. Those who complete it get a new "Alice & Cheshire" medal. The original article is as follows. On June 30th, at 10:00 AM JST (9:00 PM USA EDT, 6:00 PM USA PDT, on the 29th), Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ will be updated to Version 1.3.0, introducing a new Keyblade, which is the Sleeping Lion Keyblade originally in Kingdom Hearts II. Aside from a new Keyblade, there will be new events, a new 'mystery' medal, and more. Are you excited for the new update? Let us know in the comments below! -

I don't think I can edit this, but the counter for KHUX events is off by 1/2 minutes. For instance, the KHUX 1 AP Campaign has the counter set to end on 11:58 PM EDT, when it ends at 11:59 PM PDT/12:00 AM PDT. Also, it's set to end on EDT midnight instead of PDT. All events use PDT instead of EDT for KHUX. The same thing applies for the "In honor of KH 2.8" campaign. -

For me, I just try to focus on one person at a time. Time your dodging, cure when necessary, and continue to attack with your Keyblade and even use magic at times. It can go a long way. -
The Aqua medal campaign I believe is still going on. You can still get it back, I think.

I agree with the others, Nomura enjoys his job. He experiences stress, but he dishes it out as he continues to love working on KH3, KH 2.8, etc. -
I was literally about to say this. Nobody really considered if they made him look like that on purpose. He's supposed to look like an illusion, and with the dull face it has, maybe it was meant to show that he's not real.

Sora is a hero, the protagonist. He is only facing off against the 13 darknesses, not the end of his journey. I don't think he will become ruler, however he will be considered by many as their true hero, along with Riku, Mickey, and the 7 lights that (hopefully) stop Xehanort.
