    If a person is planning to make a published graphic novel, is inking compulsory?

    @TheTimidLight: Actually, it is the opposite... If I do get my plans underway, I do not want to ink my drawings, because I am lazy, and also because I think that it will ruin the appearance. So, is it possible to tell me if inking is compulsory?

    wha? Um...I'm pretty sure inking, whether digital or traditional, is pretty expected. I mean if you don't feel like it then you can see how it goes, but if it's just in pencil then it will probably look severely unprofessional. I guess unless, you have a really dark pencil.
