    2003 is pretty good for having its own dark variant of the story

     

    Brotherhood is also great for following the manga completely (almost xD)

    I actually like both series almost equally. Like, I think Brotherhood had a more fulfilling ending, but the original's way of explaining the Homunculus was very interesting, and reminded me of Kingdom Hearts' Nobodies.
