  1. The FF7 crew + Leon, for sure. Seifer's crew is a maybe.
  2. You're lookin' for the Random Section, m8.
  3. Was NOT expecting this to make me laugh. I might have to subscribe now.
  4. Finall beat Birth by Sleep FM on Critical! Now, all that's left is waiting for 2.8.
  5. Honestly, you could have said 'So that Nomura can keep his yearly game streak' and it would have worked just as well.
  6. I agree with all of this. Especially about the better treatment Japanese players get. It's one thing to cater to your home market, but stuff like that just continues to give the impression that they don't care about their international fans as much as they say they do.
  7. Not really. The plot of KH is pretty straightforward, at least until you get to DDD. Sure, there's niggling details that would be completely unknown unless you read interviews and ultimanias (I'm not even defending that practice, it sucks pretty bad) like what the hell the memory pods in Castle Oblivion were originally created for, but none of it is the main plot. What people complain about is the main plot not making sense and most of the people who do that are the ones who also think only playing KH1 and KH2 is enough to understand it. Really, it's when you throw time travel into the mix that it starts getting a little too wibbly-wobbly, at least in my opinion. However, almost everything before that is laid out before you in each game to grasp. Questions like 'Why did Riku inherit a Keyblade?', 'Who is the real Ansem?', 'Who is the real Xehanort?' are all definitively laid out in the games that explain that stuff, which is usually what I call the 'main four'. KH1-KH2-BBS-DDD.
  8. Huh? When? Was there ever an instance in the first game where Sora saved Riku, aside from indirectly doing so by defeating Ansem and freeing his body? And even then, throughout 90% of the game, he had Donald and Goofy backing him up. Not to mention, the help of his friends from far away in the form of Summon gems. Even Sora's powers when he syncs up with the Dream Eaters is using their powers instead of his own, whereas Riku combined powers to make himself stronger. Sora is nothing without his friends, that's kind of his motto. 'My friends are my power!' and all that. There's naivety and then there's stupidity. Forgetting to mention that you're looking for your friends throughout the majority of the worlds and then, out of nowhere, making it incredibly urgent to find your friends...to the point of mindlessly bashing on a computer in frustration is dumb. In DDD, he's dumb, yes, but I don't think it was to make Riku look smarter. It was to hammer into the players' head what's going on so that they don't forget, which is a little insulting to the audience and yet...well, it's usually the audience that complains KH is so 'convoluted' so I can't really blame the devs for wanting to make damn sure they know what they're getting into. I dunno, the more I think about it, he's pretty dumb in both games. I call this a draw. KH1 is superior, Sora-wise, as always.
  9. Eh, I'd still give that one to KHII. Really, all DDD did was show that Sora is exceptionally gullible and utterly useless without friends to help him. On one of those counts, that's technically been true since the first game. (The 'useless without friends' part) And at least Sora being stupid served a purpose in the story. KHII made Sora stupid for purely comical reasons and honestly, in certain parts, the story was so haphazardly put together with multiple rewrites pretty easily identified even in the game itself, that it's almost like they made Sora as dumb as he was just to cover up writer's error. Although I will agree, DDD didn't do him any favors. At least he finally learned the truth about Nobodies and reacted the way he should have. In that regard, I'd say he gained a teeny bit more maturity. KHII Sora just seemed stunted, tbh. Can you believe this is a Random thread?
  10. Okay that one I'll bite. How? He grew more in DDD than the entirety of KHII. Not as much as Riku, granted, but I wouldn't say DDD threw everything out the window, either.
  11. Honestly, I don't even want to play the Remake until they HD remaster Crisis Core.
  12. With the exception of DDD, isn't that every game in the series? (Besides Terra's story)

Nah. I just take breaks every now and then, that's all.
  14. My first guess would be Enchanted Dominion and Dwarf Woodlands, but I can see other worlds popping up that are unfamiliar to Aqua. Like Beast's Castle, or whatever. However... That isn't possible. No worlds could possibly fall to darkness after KH1 because the barriers between worlds have been restored. The only way a world can fall to darkness is if the barrier has been shattered and the Heartless access its keyhole. Not to mention but I'm pretty sure, if Mickey is showing up, that 0.2 probably only takes place around the time of KH1, so we wouldn't be going that far ahead in time, anyway.
  15. I wouldn't really like this all that much. For one thing, because the dynamic of Sora-Donald-Goofy is such a staple of the numbered KH games, now. Sure, in non-numbered games we can switch it up and do a system similar to BBS and DDD but for numbered games, the majority of it should center around Sora, Donald and Goofy with the occasional quick playthrough as another character. (Roxas in KHII, for example) Intertwining stories implies they're sharing the screentime and that's no good, in my opinion.
  16. The bare minimum I would accept is getting special weapons for Donald and Goofy. Mjolnir and Cap's shield.
  17. The more I think about SW, the less and less I think a proper adaptation of the films would really work. With the exception of my original 'Just have a world set in the Death Star' idea, none of the other films I think could really work as 'worlds', mostly because...well, each film features multiple 'worlds'. But I still wanna see Star Wars in it, though, because crack crossovers are my favorite kind of crossovers and I'll be damned if I can't see Donald Duck swinging a lightsaber around killing Heartless. (That probably wouldn't happen ) Honestly, I think the best way to adapt SW would be one of two ways: Either focus on one specific part of one of the movies. (The Death Star, Endor, Bespin, what have you) or, and this would probably work better...just adapt the cartoons. If there was a world based on an episode from The Clone Wars, they could easily just have it set on one world during one particular battle, hanging out with Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan and battling General Grievous or something. Or Rebels, with Kanan & Ezra. On the Marvel side, I think it would work way better. With the exception of Guardians of the Galaxy and the Thor movies, every other film takes place on Earth. All you really have to do with Marvel is just do what you did with Pirates and Tron and we'll be fine.
