Okay about the calendar... The calendar was probably finished for the trailer last month. The person who made it most likely looked at May 2015 which is identical to the calendar in the trailer. Case closed.

This is going to be a remake of the original FF7. I'm kind of curious to see how people will react when they show some gameplay footage. They are most likely going to change a lot of things, especially the battle system. I can already see hardcore FF7 fanboys bitching and whining about how SE has ruined FF7 or something like that. I personally want them to upgrade the battle system. I think the current system is too outdated to work well in a full 3D remake. But I'm fine either way.

I really hope they don't pull the "I was being controlled by the real bad guy" move at the end. Seriously screw that sh*t.

I honestly don't have a clue. I don't even understand how it's possible for them to return in the first place. If I understood right, a person is supposed to have a heart, body and soul and trying to figure out how to get them for each character would give me a massive headache.

VIII is my favorite too. I loved the story and battle system and it was the reason I got into FF and jrpg's in general. I can see why it gets a lot of hate though.

All glitches could have been fixed if SE patched the games but I don't think they ever made a single patch. Also the loading times would be much shorter if the games had an install option.

Finally a release date! I might get it on PC if the port is good. I hope the game is not as bad as people say it was.

Maybe not a trio but I'd like to see a new character or two. Maybe a couple of new Seekers of Darkness that we have never seen before. After KH3 I'd like to see a whole new cast.

I haven't played the demo myself but from what I've seen from the trailers, the game looks great.

The game has been teased since 2006 and some people have been following it for a long time now so it's understandable that people would get disappointed when the game suddenly changes. Personally I don't really care. It's been too many years since we last got a decent Final Fantasy game and FFXV looks promising with or without Stella.

Yeah, it kind of is but the overall story is geared towards more mature people.

If they remake it with FFXV level graphics then of course a lot of changes would be made. I would WANT the game to be fast-paced and more combat oriented. Keeping the outdated battle system would just be silly in my opinion. I mean why would I want fight boring random battles with ATB bars when the battle system could be a lot more exciting like FFXV. I really don't understand why it's so important for the game to be exactly the same as it was in 97. I think FF7 fans just don't know what they want lol. The game has already been heavily modded if it's just a plain remaster people want.

I definitely prefer the old one. The new one is just a bunch of Xehanort copies who shouldn't even exist anymore. But I guess anything is possible with Nomura's logic.

I used to play football when I was a kid. Nowadays I mainly run although that's not really a sport. I do play tennis and squash from time to time.
