What’s your most wanted Link for Kingdom Hearts 3?

Having started DDD in 2.8, I've been getting the urge to return to my 3DS version as well and would like to once again inquire about an issue I had. 
 
My stats show that I am missing one treasure chest in Sora's Country of the Musketeers. 
 
I'd gone through every inch, every nook and cranny of his map at least have a dozen times including at one point while consulting a treasure chest map provided here: http://www.kh13.com/forum/topic/38526-treasure-chests-maps/ 
 
and had accounted for all which are jestabockies in disguise but nothing turned up. 
 
At that point, having exhausted every angle, particularly after consulting the map in the thread here linked above, I realized that it appeared an awful lot like I shouldn't be missing a treasure chest. 
 
I understand that treasure chest glitches are not exactly uncommon in this game, is that what this is? Did my stats glitch? 
 
UPDATE 12/26/17:
I'm now missing that same treasure chest again in 2.8. How uncanny.

Yeah I remember some portals didn't spawn by me either. I think you need to redo other special portals then they will appear.

Nope, still haven't figured out Sora's missing treasure chest in CoTM but I am more interested in this issue because a Keyblade is at stake. 
 
Again in CotM, Riku's special portals #3 and #6 will not spawn. 
 
I'm aware of how it is, one per drop but between now, last evening, and six months ago I must have dropped back and forth at least 100 times as well as stepped away to pursue his special portals in other worlds (I.E I stepped away and completed his SoS special portals last evening) and returned but still nothing. 
 
I've experienced long waits for other single portals of both Riku's and Sora's such as Riku's #6 in Prankster's Paradise but nothing like this. 
 
I'm referring to the 3DS version BTW but I've started to experience this in 2.8 as well having just reached this point.   
 
I'd like to unlock the End of Pain Keyblade for both characters and Sora's all good, all of his portals are done up to one in TWTNW which is where I am currently storywise but I've started preparing to call this a glitch and leave Riku to finish without. 
 
Unless someone can tell me I don't have to.

KH4Real's tip has gotten #6 to spawn but still working on #3.

I mean in the Axel and Data Roxas battles when he double wields. 
That second Keyblade is Ven's. Isn't it?

No Vanitas came into being as soon as the darkness in Ven's heart was extracted.
 
Basically, what the above posters are saying is that because Vanitas is still connected to Ven's heart (illustrated by the fact that Ven had destroyed himself in destroying Vanitas), he as well was affected by Sora's interception much the same as Roxas.

Ava was only the recruiter, she summoned the new leaders from a list compiled by the MoM. 
In the scene which introduces Ven, we see the MoM giving her the list and her having to inquire as to a single name circled in red, the name of the one leader who will receive a copy of the BoP.

There, however, is no allusion to the criteria that produced the chosen and so no solid evidence that Ven is or was a Keyblade master.  
We still don't even know how he came to be in the BBS timeline much less with no memory. 
 
 
Haven't we? Both Roxas and Data Roxas wield it in KHII and 2.5 but that one is not the Wayward Wind from BBS so it stands to reason it's Ven's original Keyblade. 

I couldn't find another post about this so I hope I'm not repeating a topic already discussed. And I hope I'm not stating something that was really obvious to everyone else. Also if you are not up to date on the Union Cross NA storyline then look away now to avoid spoilers. 
 
I was going through a list of all currently known Keyblade Masters in my head the other day (as you do) when I suddenly realised something that I'd never thought about before. Ventus is a Keyblade Master! Probably, anyway. How is he a Keyblade Master, do you ask? Because in Union Cross he appears as one of the new Union Leaders chosen by the Master of Masters to replace the Foretellers (who are also Keyblade Masters) after they meet their end in the Keyblade War. And when Master Ava first tells Ephemer that he has been chosen to replace her as another one of the new Union Leaders he indicates that this also means he has been made a Master. Therefore if Ephemer has become a Master then we can assume that the other new Union Leaders are also Masters, including Ven. 
 
So if Ven is a Keyblade Master then that means - assuming he is one and the same as Ven in Birth By Sleep where he appears slightly older - that the whole time he was training with Aqua and Terra and sharing their dream of becoming Keyblade Masters, he was already a Keyblade Master but just didn't know it. I think this is a pretty interesting realisation when you consider that he is not only younger than Terra and Aqua by a few years (in appearance anyway as we don't actually know how old he is) but he is also weaker than them. It also means that Terra is the only one of the three to have not yet obtained the title of Master despite appearing to be the oldest. That would make him really depressed if he found out! 
 
On a slightly different note, why do you think Ven was chosen by the Master of Masters for this role? He says so himself that he's not particularly good at anything and never in the top ranks. He doesn't really seem to be a natural leader either. My guess is that he was chosen for his strong resistance to darkness. Though I also wonder if it's because the Master of Masters knew what lay in his future?
