Real remake, as true to the original as possible. But they could extent the hoenn pokedex (but only the evolutions of the hoenn pokes) and extended story lines as post game optionals. I'd also love to see new towns and an extended world (maybe even more gyms where you can choose which 8 to challenge). BUT I want the truthful Hoenn experience + all Emerald innovations: Both teams are evil Groudon and Kyogre are awakened and fight and have to be calmed down by rayquaza (and afterwards you catch one) Battle Frontier PokeNav with Cell phone functions but I do hope they have both, all original contest halls and battle tents Secret bases I just hope the ultimate Hoenn game combo will be: omegaruby, alphasapphire and the original emerald version Also: did I mention I want Brendan and May back? Concerning their design, limited customizing would be cool like choosing from old styles (like in the gba versions) and new updated styles and also between r/s and emerald styled clothes and maybe the colors (red/blue/green) would be cool What would rock: some pokes that follow behind the trainer MOST IMPORTANTLY: Generation 3 had vivid deep colors and the hoenn Pokémon look awful in XY. I hope they return to richer and darker colors for this region and I hope they keep a steady over world (only hoenn had a world that did not need to refresh screens between towns) They might even let us access mor of the islands to the south and remember faraway island? It was not not on the map pf hoenn, so maybe it is part of the decolora isles and maybe we can go thee post-game like the sevii islands (based on the orange islands).

I hope they keep the changes to a minimum. 1) new mega evolutions, meh as long as it does not change the storyline 2) I hope they keep the emerald storyline where the teams awake both pokemon 3) I hope they include only the respective evolutions of hoenn pokemon and not ALL new XY mons or else the Hoenn feeling will be distorted 4) new towns and new gyms, OK but only if all older ones appear too. 5) Battle Frontier, way to go The closer they stay to the originals the better and I hope they know this. RSE deserve faithful remakes and not some Black2/white2 shit. But I bet they'll blow it anyway

WAIIIIIIIIT A second everyone, doesn't anyone notice 3 suspicious things: 1) The mascots got noes forms (presumably mega-evolutions); not necessary but meh 2) The trailer is very vague -> WHY would they announce NEW story and NEW world if they could say REMAKE????? 3) Why not remake EMERALD? After Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire's story lines of 1 good and 1 evil team is wrong... I bet they mess this one up and make some black2/white2 thing to Hoenn.... And all I wanted was an Emerald remake (((((((

You do realize that I, aka someone who got stuck even before that armor in Traverse town on hard mode, have no idea where to level grind... Anyway, I don't see the point in doing repetitive grinding over and over again when I can just play on normal. If you complete everything on normal you get to lv 100 too and see the secret ending as well.

TWO WORDS: Noway! More buttons, more graphics, more stabilty. HD display, Dolby sound, flashy graphics, better rendering, consiles over handheld for sure! BbS was the only thing that came remotely close to a console title ever. But still I bet it will be zillions of times better on PS3

Yeah, but that'S the point. I blame Disney big time for this too as they started releasing 2 disc blu-rays with awesome slipcovers and then they started cutting the second disc, then they cut the blu-ray booklets, then they even cut disc artwork and now they even cut some physical media releases. I'm a very physical type and I just like having something to hold on. Gives me the safety I'll be able to watch my movies even if the internet crashes...

Actually it was on top of the game and the games was sealed in shrinkwrap underneath. the ebay link is what it looked like. just like Blu-rays come with thw box shrinkwrapped and then a cardboard slipcover on top
