    I've heard a similar theory about Persona 3's MC. Some say the music from Persona 3 is from his headphones, although I'm pretty sure the MC rarely actually wears his headphones in the game.

    The water levels in the Donkey Kong Country games were pretty good.

    I didn't think the first game was considered good enough to warrant a sequel, honestly. Maybe they'll have some better characters besides Good Cole and Evil Cole. There's a moogle that pops up behind the logo.

    I think I remember reading somewhere in an early interview about the movie that it was going to be a trilogy.

    The multiplayer would feel tacked on. Story>Multiplayer in the KH series. Maybe an online arena to fight waves of enemies with friends but that's as far as I'd see it going.

    I'd like for Sora to be the only playable character and have it be one continuous story, not multiple characters to play as and separate stories that intertwine throughout each other.

    Sounds like it'd get pretty unbalanced. Multiplayer in KHIII sounds good at first but I'd rather SE focus on creating a great single player experience.

    I know you said you're a massive JRPG fan but I thought I'd recommend Donkey Kong Country Returns for Wii and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze for Wii U. Both are excellent games and you should give them a try.

    Fan service obviously can't please all fans so instead a developer listens to the loudest of the fans and goes straight to appealing those specific fans, disregarding what the rest of the fan base may want. There's a good chance that the part of the fan base that is the loudest is also the part too wrapped up in themselves to actually consider that their idea may not be a good one so they shout about it from the rooftops, totally oblivious to the awfulness of their idea.
