Because people want this! Yes it's only been two years since it released, but if it comes out in Fall/Winter 2015 it would be over 3 years just like BBSFM(Jan 2011) is to 2.5 (Dec 2014) over three years.

They are releasing a separate complete soundtrack in October with all the orchestrated tracks. Relax people.

They didn't change anything. Those are pre-rendered stills not using any in game assets what so ever. They confirmed they only changed textures for graphics for KH2HD. Everything is mostly the same

Cell SPE can play sequenced tracks. And if they went the streamed route for the original music they can grab high quality tracks from their PCM Soundtrack releases.

Because some people like options and listen to the original music. The only is that they could have made it a user choice. That's the point of the whole thread to begin with. Someone prefers the original to the remaster and wish Square could give him/her an option

It was sequenced through computer samples and some samples they recorded. For some tracks in KH2 they recorded some instruments and played them with the digital samples. For HD collections it is gonna be complete recordings streamed back.

Since the sequenced music was still in 1.5. Yep the BGMs and Samples were still in the game and weren't used at all. gg Square

Dualshock 4 has a touchpad. Vita has a multitouch touchscreen. They can think of way to implement it. It's not hard

PS3 last gen entitled owner much? PS3 is nearing it's last leg of life. Square is only releasing the HD collections on there because they had planned way before Sony started sending out sdks for PS4. All signs point to a DDD HD release. All signs point to PS4/Vita re-release. Maybe an Xbox/PC as well. And no PS Now is NOT a good alternative for many reasons. (That and the Utada songs restrict it from being a PSN title anyway)

With the rates he's been doing interviews you think the game was releasing this month. But it's 5 months away

For some of you saying it won't come close to the CGI rendering...lol Clearly you don't realize what the Luminous Engine was built off of (Hedgehog Engine). The GI and Lighting in Hedgehog was great (Being compared to Pixar films) and now it's being taken a step further in Luminous. PS4 has capability of compute power (GPGPU) to render complex calculations( this can be particles, hair, weather effects). CPU is weak but I see they can utilize at least 4 core they can get definitely better AI from what we are used too. Uncharted 4 if you seen that was running on a real PS4, think about that. None the less they MIGHT have to tone down for terrible X One, but all will be forgiven if they think about releasing a PC version.

Basically it confirms 2015 release of HD complete (with 1.5 & 2.5) for Vita and PS4. DDD will be a downloadable 3D HD port on PSN for PS4 and Vita. Touch screen controls will be remade for touch pad on DS4 and on Vita will utilize touch screen/touch pad Make it happen.

They could have real timed that intro. Problem was they were probably too lazy and it would have probably took more time and money to real time all the scenes even though it would have been better they opted the easier way, to upscale the scenes

Nomura's health is fine. If he deteriorates because he is rushing during crunch time then maybe him and his co-workers should have been more efficient these past 8-10 years. If his health was a concern they had multiple opportunities to cancel this game.

No just no Square is a company that sells, and we are the consumers that buy. We expect a certain quality of the product especially from the once big reputation of Square. However everything that went wrong last gen was all on them. I am not going to feel sorry and lighten up because Nomura couldn't say no to the higher ups. That his and Square's problem. Now he has to deliver big and it's the fault of the company as a whole for the hyping, the delaying, and the promises (both broken and not). That being said, it's the management of the studio that's really caused it. The HD transition was part of it but it wass the organization that just fell apart and got worse every year Now most of Square that is left are HD port remasters(which you guys happily buy in droves) and Ios/android f2p games. Only big games left are FFXV and KH3 from them. This is their last chance. They need to clean up their act.

Bold color if you like 16 bit color. Also dithering and the occasional 8 bit color texture too. HD remix will have 32bit color textures and the extra colors truly make the art style pop. HD deserves a higher color gamut it's one of the things that helps the picture become HD. Everything about the picture is higher in quality. I do wish though they gave us an option to toggle between soundtracks, I know they have the space and PS3 can still play the sequenced tracks in it's Cell SPE.

WiiU...lol. KH3D's reality shifts and touch scren featurs can be ported to take advantage of kinect and PS4 touch pad. I don't want a movie. I want an HD remaster with a 3D option. 3D's effect is more pronounced in 1080p so I can enjoy it more.
