  1. Sure, let me import all of my Keyblades that I've worked long and hard to get to +40 (going to +43) from Chi into the game, just with the snap of my fingers... And since all keyblades need to be consistent in stats (unless we're actually going to be strengthening our own Keyblades in KH3, what a novel idea), all of my work will either be a) matched by other players who have barely touched Chi or b) reduced to nothing where it's just a nice little thing to look at (since, y'know, not everyone has access to Chi and we'd hate to deprive those who went without Chi of a nice keyblade with great stats smh). Not that I'd be complaining or anything...
  2. oh hey it's an awesome and fantastic Chi player. Welcome to the site! n_n
  3. To be honest I wonder, due to a different audience, if the weekly union rankings and such will be reversed or at least less polarized. Read the spoiler for my thoughts if you're interested~ I'll be joining Vulpeus (ウルペス) with my great teammates in team CutiePique-san as we transition into Unchained Chi~
  4. Here you can ask for help in creating a Yahoo! Japan account. Google services will probably not be offered in the near future, unfortunately.
  5. Chi players, I dare you to try and surmount the number of skills I have activated in a single turn! http://i.imgur.com/e90APe0
  6. If it's anything like Chi's F2P model, you'll be buying the chance to get SR+ cards (Chi's Raise Draw), reset gems, rare Key Art/Scene cards, (mega) potions/ethers, and cool costumes (stuff from the Shop).
  7. Warning to those unprepared: masssive wall of text and pictures incoming. Your computer/internet may have difficulty loading this page. A long, detailed, comprehensive guide to playing Kingdom Hearts χ [Chi]! This guide was created by user: VexenReplica of kh13.com. Please don't take credit for my work using your name, thanks! (why you'd want to, idk) Some websites to bookmark: http://kingdomhearts.jp/ (the game's website) translate.google.com (for those of you who have trouble with the Japanese barrier) http://kh13.com/forum/forum/84-kingdom-hearts-unchained-%CF%87-kingdom-hearts-%CF%87chi/ (our forums!) http://forums.khinsider.com/kingdom-hearts-chi/ (KHI's forums, a really good reference and has loads of useful information as well) http://wikiwiki.jp/khx/ (note that this is in Japanese) Without further adieu, let’s jump right into the world of KH Chi! Follow the instructions in this pastebin or KH13’s own guide to set up your Yahoo! Japan email. You can only play Chi with a Yahoo! Japan email. If you’re having issues setting up your account, you can have SkyKeybladeHero help in creating it in this thread. After creating it, I suggest you head over to this thread and put in your username and union, so that not only you are a listed member of the KH13 community Chi family, but also other English-speaking players can find you and hook up with you, making your experience in Chi that much better! Once you’ve set up your Yahoo! Japan account, click on the big pink heart thing on the right-hand side of the main site. You will be redirected to this lovely loading screen: Get used to it, as you’ll be seeing it a lot. You’ll go through a tutorial. You can skip cutscenes by using the SKIP feature in the top-left hand corner. You’ll eventually come to the Station of Awakening. This is the place where you can choose your union. I’m biased since I love the Vulpeus Union, so I’d say pick that, but choose whichever union you’d like to play with, or which union your friends play in. (the above two pictures are from Everglow’s walkthough; the rest are exclusive to me and were taken in my game) You’ll be then redirected to a page that looks something like this, a main hub: Let’s break it down, piece by piece. Click on the spoiler to learn more about the topic or grouping! The top: On the sides there are colorful buttons: And now for the bottom row! Now for the center of the screen: SO LET’S CLICK STUFF!!!... or talk about the menu… Most of these options were available to us on the main page, but a few weren’t… My Status and Avatar go hand-in hand. And for avatar: Theater Mode: Items: Other options: Speaking of maintenance, it happens first and third “Thursday of each month from 13:00 to sometime between 16:00 and 18:00” THIS IS JST! You can convert this into your own time zone using an application like world clock. Other time-based events that you may want to know: GUT (Guilt-Up Time) lasts for 30 minutes and increases your Guilt received from Heartless to be exactly 5. (more on this later) LUT (Lux-Up Time) doubles the amount of LUX you receive per enemy you defeat. When it’s happening, you’ll see a status bar above the Raid Boss button: It’ll tell you how much time is left in GUT/LUT. So, you may be wondering, what exactly is Guilt and Lux? Well, according to the story, Lux is the light that you’re bringing in for your Union. I’m not sure exactly what the game says about Guilt other than you need to collect it. Guilt Info, Guilt Helping: LUX is this game’s main rating system to see how you compare to other players. Basically, the more LUX you have, the higher your ranking. Beating field enemies generally gives you a base of one LUX (although, in past months, it wasn’t like this), and Raid Bosses’ LUX output depends on the damage that you do to them. In game, every week there are goals that you can try and meet. If you meet them, you can get some items (most notably the SR and SR+ medals). However, some weeks SE is more generous than others and they offer other (generally better) incentives for getting lots of LUX. At the end of each week (Monday at 00:00 JST), LUX is reset and you get to start all over again! There are two very important cards in this game, although they are not strong on their own: Yen Sid and Fairy Godmother. Yen Sid’s purpose is in the card synthesis area. He can limit cut any card of his rank (R+, SR, or SR+), acting as a wildcard for that card. His card makes it easy to get rare cards to High Purity (Basically, the highest level a card can go...although new implementations kind of screw that a little for SR+s). High Purity gives your card (excluding Key Arts) a rainbow background and it doubles the card’s stats, as compared to the uncut card. The red outline is due to ultimization, something we’ll get to later. Regular: High Purity Ultimization Do you see the difference? Fairy Godmother’s Card provides a temporary strength boost to your cards. R+ is a 1.5 multiplier, SR is a 2.0 multiplier, and a SR+ (if you can get your hands on one) is a 3.0 multiplier. This boost lasts for a week. OK, now onto unions. Remember that animal that you chose at the beginning of your adventure? Well, there were 4 other animals on the station of awakening. Those other 4 animals make up the different unions in the game, who you will face in combat every day! The team, at the end of the day (in Japan) with the most LUX collected wins! You and the opposing union fight the same Raid Bosses, so it is to your advantage that you hit the Raid Bosses a bunch so that you defeat them and get good rewards, as Raid Bosses give off more LUX than the field heartless. So the five unions vying for control of the light are: Vulpeus (fox) Ursus (bear) Leopardus (leopard) Anguis (snake) Unicornis (unicorn) Each day, the number of unions who were victorious are totalled up for each group and are added together. At the end of each week, the union with the greatest number of wins gets “special prizes” - but not really. There are “special” weekly Limited Missions (that are the same each and every week) that go out after the winner is determined. The union with the most wins gets all of the special weekly missions and the second place team only gets some of them and so forth. The rewards aren’t really that fantastic so I wouldn’t worry too much about these limited missions. Team Page/Raid Boss Page: Deck/Card Adjustment: Card Synth: Card Trade-In: Skills: Ultimization: Mog Trade: Raise Draw: Party: Joining parties: Keyblade Strengthening: Events: Moogle Stamp: Great, I’ve learned about all these things that I can do… but when do I get to fight stuff????? Item collection/field stuff: Enemy conflict: Item Collection: Treasure Chests: Chat norms/Common phrases: Enjoy your time playing Kingdom Hearts χ[Chi]! If you have any questions, comments, revisions, or suggestions to improve this guide (or if the pictures become unhosted), feel free to pm me here on kh13, and I'll get and implement (probably) the change. I spent quite a bit of time working on this, so I hope you enjoy it! Changelog:
  8. Yea, it's a connection issue. Get closer to your wifi spot if you can or, lol, get better internet connection.
  9. I am currently in the process of writing such a guide~ I am nearly done with it (just need to finish up a section about Ultimization of cards), and then it shall be posted, most probably late this week or early next week. Please look forward to it!
  10. Since SE is dividing the servers based on languages, they might need to confirm that they have a server for the folks who will play it in French/German/Spanish/Italian/Other Languages? That is my best guess as to why it hasn't been confirmed.
  11. Depends on what you mean by "Maxing Out." If you mean getting to High Purity, it works just the same as any other card - get 6 Yen Sids or the same card and it'll get HP'ed. However, if you mean Ultimizing... Blow through the first 15 Ultimizations. Get random cards from the moogle trade as fodder for your Assist Card. Get it to where you have the 12 ultimizations remaining. For each ultimization, you should use a HP'ed Assist Moogle SR+ and a SR+ Fairy Godmother. If you only have access to SR FGMs, you have a few options: 1) use a rebirth gem to get back to the original plus 5% or 2) live with only having a partially complete MAX HP/LUX Assist card (I believe if you do only use SR FGMs, you should at least hit the HP Cap). It takes 9 - at the minimum - SR+ Moogles and SR+ FGM to get MAX stats on your Assist card. Patience, I think, is the most important part of this process. I have a few assist cards that are at 6XX% that are quite close to the current cap, but I can't finish ultimizing due to the lack of FGM SR+ and moogles. It'll take a while, yes. Just keep at it is my main piece of advice.
  12. To answer your questions... 1) The dual-wielding Roxas card is currently out of rotation in the moogle trade-in. If you're referring to this Roxas card, you needed to place in well in the Golden Week events, which has already passed. 2) To get the rainbow color (what we call HP, which stands for High Purity), you need to max out your card's level. N-R+ max out after 4 limit cuts, SR max out after 5 limit cuts, and SR+ max out after 6 limit cuts. A limit cut is when you combine a card with either a Yen Sid of the same rarity or the same card. 3) To get the red outline, you need to have a HP'ed SR+. The process is called Ultimizing, and there is a whole guide you can read about it here.
  13. There's an issue since with maintenance they normally will revert your first week score to the past events, but because there was no maintenance, it still is considered both a past and current event. Since it's locked on your time of the first week, you will only be able to see your score up until 13:00 JST. You cannot access your new hunny nor the hunny trade-in until they put the last week's rankings in the past event ranking. When this will happen is something I do not know.
  14. It is the name of your player. So I guess the default name would be "Player"
  15. For KH Chi, you can only log in via Yahoo! Japan email account or a Hangame account. You cannot log in to Chi via a facebook account. With that said, there's a thread that you can ask SkyKeybladeHero to make you an account.
  16. It's less of a collaboration and more of a campaign to get more players across the two games to try and play the other. The game are distinct. The DQ monsters stay in the DQ game and the heartless stay in KHChi.
  17. Fluent in English and Spanish, learning Japanese and Swedish~
  18. Rest in peace, Vexen. The replica army that you created will miss you terribly.
  19. I believe I read somewhere that avatar outfits will be transferrable - hopefully more will be able to transfer~
  20. The rewards won't be distributed until sometime in July. And yes, you need to complete the fifth mission (Go to the wasteland continent) to get the SR+ Sora and Riku.
  21. you only need to complete to story mission 5 to access the 600 missions. There are 500 missions in the first world, and the 600 missions are in the second world.
  22. Also if you're looking to improve your Assist situation, I suggest you try out the current crossover game, Dragon Quest Monster Parade, as you will get 5 SR+ assist cards for a successful completion of the tutorial level. We have a guide on-site (written by yours truly), and if you have any other questions, feel free to pm me them (or post here of course).
