  1. Hey guys, So I've been working on a little project this weekend and managed to finally finish it today and that something is my take on what Kingdom Hearts 3's Main Menu might look like. I chose to base it primarily off of the KH 0.2/ X Back Cover menu, as those seem to be the direction that the in-game art style is going. Note, the version of Dearly Beloved is fan-made and was used before in another menu concept, but I really liked so i used it here. https://youtu.be/pYK-RaoQzIE I created the model basically from scratch using all sorts of pieces of Sora KH3 pics and putting them together, I also used the bring arts kai figure as a base for building the model on. I created the background using the shot of Destiny Islands from the secret ending of KH1 and then the papou fruit tree from Kingdom Hearts 0.2; All of the graphics/animations were customized from existing elements in order to help make it look more believable. Anyways, I think that's enough from me let me know what you think down below.

  5. If anyone wants to add me on ps4 my psn username is davidsoboz, it's also the same if you want to add me on steam.
  6. Thanks though to get to the point of creating art like this it took me years of learning and practicing. So really anyone can draw or paint it just takes practice, time, and patience.
  7. Thanks it was certainly a lot of work to paint, but also a lot of fun. Thanks
  8. Thanks I actually did use the official art as a reference and I'd love to try and paint Chloe sometime, so I'll probably do that at some point when I'm not busy with work.
  9. Hey everyone, so after recently finishing my second playthrough of Life is Strange (even better than my first time playing it) I decided to pick up my brush and take to paper to create a new watercolor painting, this time depicting the main heroine of the game Max Caulfield. It took me a bit longer than normal to finish it because of work, but I can say that the results were worth the extra time. Let me know what you guys think
  10. Just saw that KH 1.5+2.5 are available on PS4 digitally: https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/games/kingdom-hearts-hd-15-25-remix/cid=UP0082-CUSA05933_00-KINGDOMHEART1525
  11. So I was recently sifting through my videos uploads on Youtube and I came across an old video I did for the premium showcase demo, as that was one of our first in depth looks at the game. Anyway, what I noticed when viewing this video again was that something seemed really different to the final game; yes of course the character models, but in general everything looked a lot darker as well as maybe less detailed? Well anyway, I decided to put together a video comparing the two clips side by side to see how much better the final version changed and how much was actually improved. (*Note, one small but interesting change I noticed was that when Aqua is talking about there not being any time in the realm of darkness, the dialogue happens out loud while in the final game she says it in her head.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PheMfAZ6Nc
  12. So I just beat Kingdom Hearts 0.2 today (the English version) and after viewing the secret ending, I went into the theater mode section to see what the scene was called and I was surprised to find that it was called "2.9 - The First Volume". Now, while I assumed this title was just referring to the epilogue/secret ending as a whole, it got me thinking about what if 2.9 was or is an actual thing and if so is volume 2 going to be a separate thing or is it just going to be Kingdom Hearts 3? I personally hope that it is simply referring to Kingdom Hearts 3 and not something in between, as the way the ending leaves off suggests that it is talking about KH3, especially with
  13. Just finished the game myself and I gotta say that as my first Final Fantasy that I've played in awhile (since Crisis Core at least), it was definitely really enjoyable and in fact I actually liked it more than I thought I would. However, one peculiar thing that I had happen to me during my playthrough was a odd and somewhat frustrating glitch which had me stuck floating in the air and incapable of doing anything; this happened during a certain boss fight...
  14. I'm not usually into doing these sort of things, but today I decided why not?

    No problem
  16. I agree that they definitely are, however there weren't too many good quality pictures I could find of those that matched these ones, so I just sort of went with the promotional images from when those games were originally released.
  17. Well, the short version is that I used a heck of a lot of washes and then just layered the paint on slowly to try and get the desired look (which was that of her model in the trailer).
  18. So, for awhile now I've wanted to do a painting of Aqua based on the opening cinematic from 2.8 and was unable to do it back when the trailer came out due to being busy with work and other stuff. However, I finally managed to get some time to work on it and well here's the result:
  19. So with the release of the new screenshots and renders from famitsu, I decided to compare the renders of Mickey and Aqua to their Ps2 era models, to see how they look overall and to see a side by side comparison. Upon comparing them I have to say that my appreciation for the kingdom shader has gone up even more, due to the fact that they look like the character designs from the last generation but with major improvements of course and how the models actually look like they could've been from a Disney animated film. Anyways, seeing these new renders makes even more excited for the game's release in January.
