I'm not really sure how to title this :sad: I was given the okay so long as this focused on the series so please keep civil? ;-; I seen this on tumblr a day or two ago. To be honest it feels a little over cynical but it did get me thinking about how I've felt as the series has went on. So I was wondering how it made others feel about the series when you started and now. I'm sure more will disagree than agree with it but I figured it could be a decent topic. So..uh..I'm sorry I'm not good at this. I just really like seeing peoples opinions on things. (please be civil ;-; )

That's obviously more subjective than true. Sora still helps out everyone, makes friends, nothing about him is empathetic in any game. The KH2 Sora felt dumber since he felt more like an atypical Goku or other shounen. I had "dumbest" in quotation for that reason. It was like he brushed things off with a cheerful smile in KH2 which isn't being so much cheerful as it is just glossing over or ignoring what he doesn't really get at points. If your gonna argue this point over the opinion KH1 Sora was boring then this isn't so much facts as you trying to say your opinion of them is better than mine when it's a subjective point. Agree to disagree.

Well long as it's more friendly than my KHI or other KH forum experiences I think I might like it. It seems friendlier so far anyway.

I think she's the main character or at least can be seen as the main one. Just because Ventus is tied to Sora doesn't make him the main lead. Sora himself hasn't even been the lead for half the titles. Like how Riku was more of the lead in KH3D. I remember seeing a thing about it on tumblr somewhere too. A Nomura snip it or something.

Define personalty. Many of these characters dont really have a dedicated spotlight to be more than what we see in boss battles. Isa was entirely silent in KH3D and Xigbar also declares he's "half xehanort". Each Xehanort so far has shown a type of facade personality, one made from Xehanorts heart being affected by the hosts or vice versa, such as Terranort being more prone to anger outburst Xigbar who retains his quip or even Xemnas who retains the older forms calmer demeanor. The underlining aspect was that despite what personality they portrayed the heart of Xehanort was still ruling them within. Terra resisted but ultimately he was used to make Ansem and Xemnas who followed Xehanorts whims to a fault as he revealed in KH3D. Isa who had some subplot in Days with Lea is now a silent puppet until KH3 shows us otherwise. The Apprentice was said to be amnesiac yet we see him going on a mad mans spree with Xehanort's keyblade in KH3Ds opening scene. From what I get of this is that Xehanort slowly takes over with each vessel having a different degree of resistance. Xigbar was willing but he's been the one playing host longest so I find it hard to tell or declare how much is him or how much is Xehanort controlling him. KH3D's whole point was he gathered the best hosts he could so I dont see any of them rebelling on their own without some form of help to resist his hearts hold on them. Xigbar in particular has been one for 10+ years and was willing at that so even if he has some degree of freedom left he's still obviously loyal on his own. Even the youngest version seems content or understanding that the old one is who he will be and rolls with it. ...wow I've never made a post that big on a forum before. o-o I'll just stick to my 50/50 stance. *hides back in his corner*

I have to pick KH1. Sora was never the brightest surfboard but he at least understood to a degree in KH1 and learned as he went. I dont count COM Sora since he forgot. I'm inbetween on KH3D since Sora didn't seem to be any smarter nor dumber. For KH2 I count him the "dumbest" one since he was portrayed like a shounen character rather than the normal boy of average intelligence I met in KH1.
