  1. I think that, if Demyx did manage to get to Ventus and save him, it would be after Castle Oblivion is transformed back into the Land of Departure, as we see that it has been in the trailers. Once it's the Land of Departure again, there would be nothing keeping anyone from finding Ventus.
  2. I'm not saying that they are for sure going to be double agents. They could very much be seekers of darkness. However, there are a few things that seem off about them to me that make me think that they could be double agents. First of all, we see Demyx return to Radiant Garden carrying something. He appears to be talking to Ienzo as he returns, which means that they must be on friendly terms, and we know that Ienzo is not a seeker of darkness. Unless Demyx has tricked Ienzo into thinking that he is on Ienzo's side, or unless Ienzo has become a seeker of darkness by this point in the game (we don't see anything but Ienzo's hair in this scene, so I suppose it is possible that if we saw more of him, we would see that he has one or more traits of a seeker of darkness), I don't know why Demyx would travel to Ienzo with whatever it is he's carrying unless he is a double agent. Second, in Dream Drop Distance, we found out that the only people missing from Radiant Garden who used to be in Organization XIII were Braig and Isa. Even was there, but was still recovering. So, unless Xehanort changed his mind and decided to make Even a seeker of darkness, Even being a double agent is the only thing that makes sense right now. We also know that Ansem the Wise has the ability to change his appearance since he did so when he became DiZ. So, if Demyx and Vexen are working for Ansem the Wise as double agents, he could have changed their appearance to look like they belong in the seekers of darkness, or he could have taught them how to do it themselves. That being said, there is one glaring flaw with this theory. Wouldn't the seekers of darkness know who belongs among them and who doesn't? So, how would Demyx and Vexen be able to get away with infiltrating them without being found out instantly? We haven't actually seen them working for anyone though, so how could we know that they are working for Xehanort? Plus, there are now more than thirteen characters who have one or more traits of Xehanort (including the black coat). They couldn't all be seekers of darkness working for Xehanort, could they? They could be double agents or they could be seekers of darkness. I think that there is enough evidence to support both cases, so I don't think we can say for sure yet.
  3. Part of me wants to say that it could possibly be Kingdom Hearts, but since Chirithy is there and Sora says, "I'll be back to visit you," I think that it is less likely that it is Kingdom Hearts. I will have to agree with you that it is more likely the Unchained Realm or someplace in the Realm of Sleep.
  4. In the Winnie the Pooh trailer, we found out that Sora would be returning to the Hundred Acre Wood. This might confirm that Radiant Garden will be a world you can visit since Pooh's book has only ever appeared in that world. If it a world you can visit, I have some ideas about what might happen in that world. We have seen Demyx returning to Radiant Garden carrying what I believe is a person in a white robe. The only person who we have ever seen where a white robe like that is Ventus, so I think that Demyx just saved Ventus and is returning to Radiant Garden to keep him safe, but why would he do that? If both Demyx and Vexen are working for Ansem the Wise and are undercover in the seekers of darkness, they may have found out where Ventus was and what the seekers of darkness were planning to do with him while they were undercover and went to save him. We know that Ienzo is keeping in touch with Sora with that device, so maybe once Ventus is brought to him, he contacts Sora to come to Radiant Garden to wake Ventus up. This may be the reason that Sora heads to Radiant Garden in the first place I also think that, since at least one seeker of darkness has appeared in almost every world, that Terra-Xehanort may appear as the seeker of darkness whom Sora encounters in this world. But these are just must thoughts. What do you guys think?
  5. I think that these are the real members. This has a very climatic feel to it. Plus, it is shown with Master Xehanort's dialogue about how it is time to forge the χ -Blade. So, while all of the figures who we see in this scene may not be all of the ones who we have seen so far, I do think that they are the ones who will partake in the final battle. As far as who they are, I really don't know anymore. It seems like every time I think I come up with a good guess as to who the seekers of darkness are, something new comes up that debunks my theory. However, there are a few things I notice while looking at this scene. There appear to be two feminine bodies in this scene. One I'm sure is Larxene. The other is a smaller body who I think is Xion. So, that might confirm that Aqua is not a seeker of darkness. There also appears to be three small bodies in total. As I just said, I think one of them is Xion. Since we see Unversed appear in that big battle, I think Vanitas is one of them. That leaves the third one. There are two people who I think it is. The first is Data-Riku (or whoever that other Riku is) since we see him encounter Sora in San Fransokyo. The other is Roxas since the stone structure we see him standing in front of when he takes off his black hood looks a lot like the stone structure we see the seekers of darkness standing on top of in this scene. So, if I were to take a guess right now, I would say that the seekers of darkness are: 1. Master Xehanort 2. Young Xehanort 3. Vanitas 4. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness 5. Xemnas 6. Xigbar 7. Saix 8. Luxord 9. Marluxia 10. Larxene 11. Xion 12. Data-Riku/Roxas 13. Terra However, this is assuming that all of the seekers of darkness who Sora has encountered will remain seekers of darkness until the end of the game (except for possibly Data-Rku), so I'm probably wrong.
  6. My favorite movie to watch on Halloween is "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown".
  7. I'm curious to see how the Genie looks. If I had to take a guess, I would say that he will look similar to how the Genie looks in the Broadway musical.
  8. I will agree that the time travel part of the story has made everything more confusing. I would have liked it if time travel was never used (except for the way it was used in KH2 with Timeless River). However, this new revelation doesn't seem to make things too much more confusing (yet). So, I will wait to see how it plays out before I make my judgements. Right now, I am interested to see where this is going.
  9. I tend to go back and forth on whether my favorite Spider-Man villain is the Lizard or Sandman. As of right now, my favorite Spider-Man villain is the Lizard.
  10. I cannot thank you enough for saying "Frankenstein's Monster" and not "Frankenstein".
  11. I think that a villain doesn't need any one thing to be a good villain. A villain could have any combination of things and be a good villain. However, even if a villain has all the makings of a good villain, they could still end up being a bad villain. Therefore, I think that the most important thing in a villain is that they are written and acted well.
  12. During Square-Enix Presents, a lot of interesting gameplay was shown. One thing that was shown that I don't think anyone expected was footage from a boss fight. After seeing this brief footage, I have a quick theory. If you don't want the boss spoiled at all, leave now. You have been warned.
  13. Many people have pointed out that we seem to be at more than thirteen seekers of darkness now. If that is true, why is that? At the end of Dream Drop Distance, it seemed like all but one had been decided. However, now there seems to be more than Xehanort needs. Well, we do know that Xehanort has a history of having backup plans and backup plans for his backup plans. So, it wouldn't be too crazy to assume that he would have backup seekers of darkness. A line that Xehanort says to Terra in the secret ending to Birth by Sleep could confirm this. After Terra tells Xehanort that he has a plan to free himself from Xehanort's control, Xehanort says to him, "You are just one of many roads that I might choose to take. Trust me. I made certain of that." What do you guys think?
  14. For me, the most surprising part was seeing Vexen with yellow eyes and a black coat while talking to Demyx, who was also wearing a black coat.
  15. In the extended version of the Big Hero 6 trailer, we saw Vexen and Demyx with yellow eyes. As we all know, yellow eyes mean Xehanort. However, I’m not convinced that they are seekers of darkness. Let’s start by figuring out who has been confirmed to be seekers of darkness so far. In Dream Drop Distance, we got seven confirmed members: 1. Master Xehanort 2. Young Xehanort 3. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness 4. Xemnas 5. Braig 6. Isa 7. Terra/Aqua/Ventus (when King Mickey listed off all of the Keyblade wielders he knew of, Xehanort responded, “But Sora and another on your list belong to me now.”) Now we have the seekers of darkness who have been confirmed through Kingdom Hearts III trailers, specifically the ones who Sora, Donald, and Goofy are shown to encounter in different worlds: 1. Vanitas 2. Luxord 3. Marluxia 4. Larxene 5. Another Riku (we don’t know for sure which form of Riku this is, but I think that it is most likely Data-Riku since the Big Hero 6 world seems to focus on data) That brings the total number of seekers of darkness that have been confirmed up to twelve. Assuming that all of these seekers of darkness are going to remain seekers of darkness until the end of the game (it is possible that who are seekers of darkness will change before the end of the game), Vexen and Demyx can’t both be seekers of darkness since there is only one spot left. However, if Terra, Aqua, or Ventus (whoever Xehanort was referring to in Dream Drop Distance) is saved before the end of the game (which is a possibility), then both Vexen and Demyx can be seekers of darkness since there would be two spots left. However, there are still some problems. While it is possible for Demyx to be one of the twelve seekers of darkness sitting in Where Nothing Gathers at the end of Dream Drop Distance, Vexen couldn’t be one of them. When he returned a complete person along with the others who became Nobodies at Radiant Garden, he was one of the ones who were still there. We know this because Aeleus said to Lea, “Dilan and Even are conscious again, but still unstable. They’re resting inside.” The only ones who weren’t there (other than Terra-Xehanort) were Braig and Isa, which means that they were the only ones from that group to become seekers of darkness. Young Xehanort had instructed Braig to take Isa (as we see in the second secret ending from Re:coded that was added in Kingdom Hearts 2.5), which means that the others (including Even) weren’t considered to be seekers of darkness (at least, not at first). So, if Even is a seeker of darkness, he would have to be one of the last ones chosen after the events of Dream Drop Distance. As for Demyx, if he is a seeker of darkness, why do we see him returning to Radiant Garden with who seems to be Ventus (Ventus is the only one who ever wore a white robe like that)? If both Demyx and Vexen are seekers of darkness, Demyx couldn’t be fetching Ventus to make him a seeker of darkness as well since all of the seekers of darkness would have already been decided (once again assuming that all of the previously mentioned seekers of darkness will remain seekers of darkness until the end of the game). Not only that, but Demyx seems to be talking to Ienzo (who is right in front of him) as he is returning, and we know that Ienzo is not a seeker of darkness and is helping Sora, Donald, and Goofy. So, unless Demyx is tricking Ienzo into helping him somehow (maybe to get Sora to come to Radiant Garden and return Ventus’ heart so that Ventus can become a guardian of light), I don’t know why Demyx would be doing this. Finally, in the extended version of the Big Hero 6 trailer, we hear Ansem say to Braig, “If he wavers from the path we lay, we destroy him.” To which Braig responds, “But then…we’ll have to find another vessel.” It’s possible that they could have been talking about Marluxia (since he does have a history of betraying the Organization) or Terra (since he does have a history of fighting back against Xehanort’s control), but the trailer implied (by showing Sora with Donald, Goofy, Hayner, and Olette before Braig finished talking) that they were talking about destroying Sora if he wavers from the path they lay (as for finding another vessel, they could have meant that Sora is supposed to be one of their vessels or that someone connected to Sora is supposed to be one of their vessels, who would probably be Roxas or Xion, since destroying Sora would ruin any chance of seeing them again). However, if Sora or someone connected to Sora is one of the seekers of darkness, then Vexen and Demyx couldn’t be seekers of darkness since all thirteen seekers of darkness would already be decided (once again assuming that all of the previously mentioned seekers of darkness will remain seekers of darkness until the end of the game). Could Vexen and Demyx be seekers of darkness? Of course, they could be. However, I still have my doubts that they actually are. What do you guys think?
  16. In addition to a lot of other things included in this poll, I loved the glimpse we got of Sora and Kairi sitting together in Destiny Islands.
  17. I think you're right. I don't think I stopped to think things through completely. So, this is now who I think will be in the guardians of light and seekers of darkness: Guardians of Light 1. King Mickey 2. Sora 3. Riku 4. Kairi 5. Lea 6. Ventus 7. Terra Seekers of Darkness 1. Master Xehanort 2. Young Xehanort 3. Vanitas 4. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness 5. Xemnas 6. Braig/Xigbar 7. Isa/Saix 8. Luxord 9. Marluxia 10. Larxene 11. Roxas 12. Aqua 13. Data-Riku This is what makes the most sense to me right now. So, this is what I'm sticking with until more information shows up that makes me change my mind or until I'm proven wrong (which is what will probably end up happening; in fact, I will be surprised if I am not proven wrong).
  18. There's no need to get upset. I know very well that I could be completely wrong. In fact, I'm expecting to be. When I watched the trailer, I thought that Demyx eyes were closed. Now that you point that out to me, I can see his yellow eyes. I'm still not sure if Vexen and Demyx are seekers of darkness though. It just seems strange to me that Demyx is returning to Radiant Garden with someone, to the same room where Ienzo is, and appears to be talking to Ienzo as he does so when we know that Ienzo is not a seeker of darkness and is, in fact, helping Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Since it seems that Ansem the Wise may have been able to alter his appearance as DiZ (since his skin was a darker shade and he didn't appear to have a beard anymore), maybe he did the same to Vexen and Demyx. It's a stretch, but I think that it's at least a possibility. I really don't think we know for sure who the seekers of darkness are yet. If it is the thirteen you say, then who was Ansem and Xigbar talking about? They were talking about destroying someone if that person strays from the path, which would mean they would need another vessel. I don't think they could have been talking about any of those thirteen unless one of the thirteen is the replacement for the one they were talking about and they ended up having to destroy the original member. When we look at the pieces on the chessboard at the beginning of the trailer, the piece that Young Xehanort sets down to declare a checkmate most looks like the Keychain on the Ends of the Earth Keyblade, which is Terra's Keyblade. This could mean that Terra is one of the seekers of darkness. Either that, or it's the Lingering Will. Also, just because we haven't seen Terra and Aqua wearing black coats doesn't mean they aren't seekers of darkness. Vanitas isn't wearing a black coat in this trailer, but we know that he's a seeker of darkness. But again, these are just my thoughts on what has been revealed so far. It is very likely that I am wrong, and I am fully expecting to be wrong.
  19. I think that there are lots of things we still don't know. When I watch all of these trailers, I still feel like I know nothing. We have gotten a lot, yes, but I don't think we've gotten enough to spoil the entire game for us.
  20. The extended version of the Big Hero 6 trailer made me rethink who the guardians of light and thirteen darknesses will be. I decided to start by listing everyone who is either a Xehanort (Master Xehanort and Young Xehanort), a form of Xehanort (Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, and Xemnas), or has something associated with Xehanort (yellow eyes, silver hair, black coat). I decided to list when a character has yellow eyes, silver hair, and/or a black coat, even for characters who are Xehanort or a form of Xehanort. 1. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness - Yellow Eyes - Silver Hair - Black Coat 2. Xemnas - Yellow Eyes - Silver Hair - Black Coat 3. Young Xehanort - Yellow Eyes - Silver Hair - Black Coat 4. Marluxia - Yellow Eyes - Black Coat 5. Vanitas - Black Coat 6. Larxene - Yellow Eyes - Black Coat 7. Aqua - Yellow Eyes - Silver Hair 8. Braig/Xigbar - Yellow Eye - Black Coat 9. Luxord - Yellow Eyes - Black Coat 10. Even/Vexen - Yellow Eyes - Black Coat 11. Demyx - Black Coat 12. Data-Riku (we don't know for sure if this is Data-Riku yet) - Yellow Eyes - Silver Hair (Data-Riku already had silver hair) - Black Coat (Data-Riku already wore a black coat) 13. Master Xehanort - Yellow Eyes - Silver Hair 14. Ansem the Wise - Black Coat 15. Isa/Saix - Yellow Eyes (we don't see his eyes in the trailer, but thanks to Dream Drop Distance, we know he has yellow eyes) - Black Coat 16. Terra - Yellow Eyes (we don't see his eyes in the trailer, but I think it is safe to assume that he still has yellow eyes if he still has silver hair) - Silver Hair 17. Roxas - Black Coat Obviously, all of these characters can't be seekers of darkness. There can only be thirteen. So, who can we rule out? I think we can rule out Even/Vexen, even though he has yellow eyes. He was one of the people who appeared as a complete person again in Radiant Garden in Dream Drop Distance. In one of the new cutscenes added to the Re:coded movie in Kingdom Hearts 2.5, Braig asks Young Xehanort who he should take with him of those who returned as complete people in Radiant Garden. We didn't hear who Young Xehanort told Braig to bring with him, but we know that Isa ended up being missing in Dream Drop Distance and was revealed to be one of the seekers of darkness at the end of the game. Because of this. I think it is safe to rule Even out as a seeker of darkness. And since Even is talking to Demyx, I think that it is safe to assume that Demyx isn't a seeker of darkness either. However, if Even isn't a seeker of darkness, why does he have yellow eyes? I think that he might be trying to infiltrate the seekers of darkness and to do so his eyes were turned yellow in order to fool the seekers of darkness. But why would he be doing this? I think that he is following the orders of Ansem the Wise. We see Demyx return to Radiant Garden through a Corridor of Darkness with Ienzo in front of him. We also see Ansem the Wise approach Ienzo. If Ansem the Wise, Ienzo, and Demyx are all in Radiant Garden, I think that they are working together. And since we see Even talking to Demyx about someone's plan, I think that the person with the plan is Ansem the Wise, and Even is also working with him. I also think that we can rule out Aqua. We briefly see her out of the Realm of Darkness and not corrupted by darkness, which I think means that she has been saved by this point in the game. And if she's been saved by this point in the game, then I don't think she will be one of the seekers of darkness. So, that's four characters who have been ruled out, which leaves us with thirteen characters: 1. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness 2. Xemnas 3. Young Xehanort 4. Marluxia 5. Vanitas 6. Larxene 7. Braig/Xigbar 8. Luxord 9. Data-Riku (?) 10. Master Xehanort 11. Isa/Saix 12. Terra 13. Roxas (?) I'm not going to try to figure out who the guardians of light are because I feel like I don't have enough to go on, but these are who I think the seekers of darkness will be. What do you guys think?
  21. The extended version of the Big Hero 6 trailer has been released, and there is a lot in this trailer! Here are some of my thoughts on what was shown: Larxene tells Sora, Donald, and Goofy that they have all thirteen seekers of darkness. Do they actually have all thirteen seekers of darkness, or was she lying? It is also possible that what she meant was that they know who all thirteen seekers of darkness are going to be, but they might not necessarily have all of them yet. However, it's not like they need to find a lot of people. We know thanks to Dream Drop Distance that they only need one more seeker of darkness, so maybe they actually do have all thirteen seekers of darkness by that point in the game. Also, we don't know at what point in the game we visit Arendelle. If we visit it later in the game, then it would be very believable that they have found their thirteenth seeker of darkness. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, talks about destroying someone if he wanders from the path they lay. Xigbar responds by telling him that if they did that, they would need to find another vessel. Were they talking about Sora or not? It is also possible that they were talking about Sora, but the vessel that Xigbar was talking about is someone connected to Sora's heart, meaning that if they have to destroy Sora, they wouldn't be able to make the person connected to his heart a vessel, be that person Roxas, Ventus, or Xion. Vexen talks to Demyx about someone's plan. What is this plan that Vexen is talking about? Are they following someone's plan, and if so, whose plan? Also, they are both wearing black coats, but what is really surprising is that Vexen has yellow eyes. Does this mean that Vexen is a seeker of darkness? Does that also mean that Demyx is a seeker of darkness? What I think is that Vexen and Demyx are not seekers of darkness. Since we see both Demyx and Ansem the Wise appear in Radiant Garden in front of Ienzo, I think that Vexen and Demyx are following the plan of Ansem the Wise. This plan might involve infiltrating the seekers of darkness, which would explain why Vexen has yellow eyes (they aren't really yellow eyes; they are fake eyes that are meant to fool the seekers of darkness). I also think that part of Ansem the Wise's plan is to rescue Ventus. We see Demyx return to Radiant Garden, and he seems to be carrying someone in a white robe. The only person we have seen in a white robe like that is Ventus. Finally, Vanitas appears to have found Ventus in the Land of Departure, which means that Castle Oblivion must have turned back into the Land of Departure somehow. Vanitas isn't wearing his black coat in the Land of Departure. Is that significant or not? We also see him seemingly about to kill Aqua. The fact that Aqua is no longer in the Realm of Darkness and is not corrupted by darkness leads me to believe that Aqua has been saved by this point in the game. In addition, we see a bright light behind Aqua. Is that the Keyhole that she used to transform the Land of Departure into Castle Oblivion or something else? It could even be Ventus. But these are just my thoughts. What do you guys think?
  22. I don't think we know for sure who is going to betray who, but we do know that there is going to be an inevitable betrayal thanks to what was revealed in Back Cover. To me, it makes the most sense for Xigbar to betray Xehanort since he has thought that Xehanort has been hiding something since before the original Organization XIII was completely formed. However, just because there will be a betrayal doesn't mean that person will end up becoming the main villain. It could mean that, but it doesn't necessarily mean that. I personally don't think that the betrayer will end up replacing Xehanort as the main villain (why would Xehanort not end up being the main villain of the Xehanort Saga?), but he might. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
  23. You're right. We can't say for certain. However, the reason why a lot of us think that a Wreck-It Ralph world isn't going to be a world in Kingdom Hearts III, but will instead be a world in Union χ, is that Nomura said, before the trailer that showed Ralph as a Link was released, that a character from the exclusive Union χ Disney world would appear as a Link in Kingdom Hearts III and might appear in the next trailer. The only Disney character who was revealed in the next trailer as a Link who comes from a Disney movie that hasn't been made into a Disney world yet is Ralph. That being said, you could look at those points you mentioned as proof that there is, at the very least, still a possibility that a Wreck-It Ralph world will appear as a world in Kingdom Hearts III. We just can't say for certain right now.
  24. I expect to see the identity of that mysterious seeker of darkness revealed, whoever it is.
  25. I can't believe it took us this long to find this! Maybe it was because we thought that it had to be someone brand new, and we had already seen two forms of Riku revealed. Up until this point, I didn't have any clue as to who it could be because I felt like the hairstyle didn't perfectly match any Kingdom Hearts character, but now, I definitely think that this person is either Riku Replica or Data-Riku (I could definitely be wrong, but this is what I think makes the most sense based off of the evidence we have). I'm actually leaning a bit more toward it being Data-Riku for the same reason you said. We know thanks to the concept art that we got when a Big Hero 6 world was announced that the original Baymax gets corrupted by darkness. Maybe it was Data-Riku who corrupted the original Baymax, not with darkness, but with Bugs. This is a good point! However, they could still be dice. We don't know for sure what they are right now.
