  1. I apologize if this has already been discussed but this just hit me: If Xehanort has possessed Terra (and if the theory about Xehanort still being in Terra's body and it's just morphed to match the old man's Heart is true) does that mean Xehanort can dual wield Keyblades like Sora and Roxas can because he has access to the Heart of another Keyblade wielder?
  2. I apologize if this has already been discussed but this has been bugging me from the beginning. Just who are the characters we play? Where did we come from before we showed up in Daybreak Town, were inducted into the Unions and given our Keyblades? Did we volunteer for the war, were we drafted, or were we kidnapped and brainwashed? I get that we're supposed to be playing Silent Protagonist player avatars but even most other characters of these kinds have some kind of backstory but we get zilch. Unless this has been answered in the Japanese versions of the game in which case this can be ignored.
  3. This, this, all of this. You, sir or madam, make more sense than anyone else. What everyone seems to forget is that the Xehanorts are all great big liars who will say anything to further their plans. Heck, their catchphrase might as well be: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dark+helmet+fooled+you
  4. I'm honestly surprised that no one has thought of this until now. You are probably the only person I have ever seen use the Heart Fragmentation Theory for anything besides figuring out who is a Xehanort.
  5. The game is already somewhat ruined for me because of one thing: Sora uses Disneyland rides in combat. That is just way too silly and stupid even for Kingdom Hearts. Were they worried that it wasn't Disney enough?
  6. What exactly makes one a "Keyblade Master"? We understand that they are very powerful Keyblade wielders with very advanced abilities but how does this come about? Do they just develop these abilities over time and the Exam and rank are just formalities or does passing the Exam unlock these abilities? EDIT: Here's another one, what is the "Eye Of Darkness"? We see it on plenty of "Dark" Keyblades (Soul Eater, Way To The Dawn, Void Gear, End Of Pain, Chaos Ripper, Darkgnaw, Xehanort's Keyblades and the Foreteller's Keyblades) and yet these are all technically Light-aligned Keyblades so what does it mean? We could assume that it's a sign of someone who uses Darkness (Xehanort, Vanitas, Terra, Riku) but if that's the case. what does that say about the Foretellers?
  7. I'm split on this idea. On one hand, it'll be great to play as the original Three Amigos again but on the other, I am sick to death of important plot details happening off screen. I wanted to know how Riku got his Keyblade or what Lea's training was like or Mickey's adventures through the Realm of Darkness or heck, what the hell Pluto has been doing this whole time.
  8. I have a hard time believing that Master Xehanort has fully returned instead of Terranort. Partly because of how he disappeared in Dream Drop Distance (he faded away like his other selves which implied to me that he was time displaced like them) and partly because I just can't see the creators being able to replace the late great Chikao Ohtsuka and the late great Leonard Nimoy.
  9. That actually makes a lot of sense. And if I may add on to it, either the Keyblades switched alignment by being in the Realm of Darkness too long or their wielders were advocates for the Darkness like Xehanort and freely used the Darkness.
  10. *smacks my forehead* I completely forgot that a Dark Keyblade was need in conjunction with a Light Keyblade. Thanks for the reminder. But that just raises the question of how there are Keyblades of the Realm of Darkness at all. As far as we know, there is nothing in the Realm of Darkness but ruined worlds, endless hordes of Heartless and the Darkness itself so what was the Kingdom Key D doing there? And the only ones to use Dark Keyblades were beings of Light to begin with (Mickey, Xehanort, Vanitas, and Terra). I always assumed that Lea went through the Ceremony with either Mickey or Yen Sid since they were the only Keyblade Masters around.
  11. If I couldn't find a thread like this I would have made one myself but, lo and behold, here we are. Most of my questions are about Keyblades. For exmaple: How does one obtain a Keyblade? We know that there are approximately three ways: inheritance from a master (implied with Yen Sid and Mickey as well as Xehanort and his master), forging a new one through training from a master (implied with Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Riku and Lea), and a situation so desperate that the worlds themselves give you one (Sora). The one that I'm focused on is forging through training. What kind of training is it? We know that Yen Sid said that Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather were helping Lea out with his Keyblade but we never get to see it. Were they blasting him with magic in an attempt to force him to summon it? Did they put him through a trance of some kind? How did Riku turn the Soul Eater into the Way To The Dawn? At some point between seeing him in The Land Of Dragons and The World That Never Was, the change happened. We also know that he can change it back as shown at the beginning of Dream Drop Distance. Or are they separate weapons that just happen to look similar? For that matter, where did he get the Soul Eater to begin with? What are the origins of the Kingdom keys? They're obviously important or else Mickey wouldn't have went though all that trouble in the background to get his. Are they more powerful than regular Keyblades? Do they have abilities that we haven't seen yet that other Keyblades don't? I obviously realize that these are just minor nitpicks and aren't important to the plot at all and are probably already answered and I'm just being oblivious. I'm just the kind of person who enjoys really tiny and intricate details.
  12. Hi, I'm a new guy. I'm just popping in to say hi.
