What about “Good Guy,” what’s the sample there? That’s me doing my video game thing. Kingdom Hearts. It’s a Japanese videogame, and that’s the theme song from it. It’s one of the dopest melodies I’ve ever heard. Shout out Japanese videogames and Japanimation for inspiration. Filtered it, did some chops, did some processing to it. I basically made it unrecognizable, but I know they would have still found it. That’s why we had to deal with the clearance. But when I do anything I try to make it to where it’s not fully recognizable. That's the track "Good Guy" on his new album "Kamikaze". I confess I have no idea which specific KH melody it is, maybe someone here does. I didn't even recognize until I read about it, despite being a fan of KH since Day 1. Pretty much a fan of EM since Day 1 as well so that's cool! For some reason the song on Youtube is not the one on Spotify, it doesn't even have the vocals, so I recommend Spotify (or any other such platform). Note: Not sure if this belonged here or in Media, but it is KH-related not just general media.

I remember snagging my GF's PSP all the time to play Dissida. She kinda just left it around and didn't seem very interested in even using it, and I found she had the demo of Dissida and that damn it was so fun and addictive. I'm definitely interested. My only concern is if as a fighting game it will become stale quickly for an RPG player? Also I was happy to see Zidane in there, can't recall if he was in the first one.

I have yet to try that fight, but if it's anything like Phantom Aqua I know I'd be pissed.

That's a pretty bad glitch, you would think it would be sorted right away. I'd rather wait for it to be fixed, but if not I guess lots of saving.

What exactly does the save glitch do? I'm 40 hours into KH, haven't had one yet.

I just pre-ordered crash and am now pretty hyped to play something light and fun, like the old days. Got a friend and we're gonna take turns so that's gonna be fun, don't get to play social a lot with RPGs. Besides the remastered aspect, I also look forward to the nostalgia. Crash Bandicoot was my absolute first game on PSOne!

I would not mind playing as females (HZD anyone?), but it would be strange now that the characters are established- which are male.

The first one. I've yet to see the new one, really curious what it will be like, especially since I don't remember what happened last- if this is indeed a continuation in that way. This is my problem with movies, they are years apart which is fine in a way but I forget the plot.

A lot of FFXV hate going on. Personally I'm a super habitual person and I was pleasantly surprised by XV. It was a change in the franchise, but when you gave it a chance it was a change that worked. Different? Sure. Doesn't make it a bad game. Had a lot of fun with that game, so I guess the point is no matter what anyone says I still had fun. Who knows if I started looking at XV's flaws I might have disliked it, and I bet that happened to many who decided that this new FF is shit. I was the opposite, I said I'm gonna embrace this, even though I know it will be new and with the long development possibly flawed. Sure I'm not blind I saw the flaws, they just didn't bother me much. If you're gonna play a game you might as well say "This is the game" and make the most of it, if you're not gonna play it well then there's really no problem is there. Had a heck of fun with it, probably due to accepting it for what it was. 71 hours logged and more to do, but moved on for other games and no fan of paying for future content. About this I don't know what to say, I'm not surprised by any delay when it comes to SE anymore- after XV's long road. It's nice that I will get to take my time with 1.5/2.5 collections, as it is I'm struggling to play them and there is a lot of other games I'd like to play, having just got my PS4 a while back (XV release). That said I was just hoping 7 Remake and KH3 wouldn't release at the same time, I want to focus on one 100% and take my time.

Could someone describe each character with like a main trait that they embody? For example: Empathy. I only know about the main ones. I'd like to see out of curiosity which one I might relate to.

I'm not in a hurry for any game, I want quality and I trust any time put in a game improves its quality. With that said any news will be a nice surprise, especially on KH3 and VII-R.

Nice April Fools. I admit you got me, and that was like 5 minutes after I woke up and thought to myself "it's April Fool's huh, well you ain't fooling me today cause I know!"

So just picked up my copy today (surprised not to find any other posts saying they finally got it) and I'm quite disappointed in the pre-order bonus. Hey that's not why I buy the game, but this one just seems silly to me personally. 2 months subscription to Viaplay, and the worst part is that it says "subscription is automatically renewed after the 2 free months", which means if you forget about it you'll keep paying. I don't know about you but if I wanted a Viaplay subscription I'd have it already. Also that is not KH related at all unlike the other bonuses, hell even the pin is still KH related. Thumbs down from me, hope you guys get something better

Nice work Interesting to learn how KH came to be, I didn't know the details. One note, maybe put a spoiler warning after this part: "Although there may be a lack of concrete plot details, and many things have been retconned, there are many emotional and character-driven moments that have caused fans to fall in love with the series. A small few include ....."

I could swear there was an anniversary not long ago, it wasn't the 15th KH anniversary? People even talked about how old they were when it came, and that's some time ago. : S

Wow just a lot. I was 15 when KH came out, I am now 28. My life didn't truly start until I was around 20. - Before I was 20 it was all failure, failed all school up until age 19. Tried military but couldn't take it. - Stayed at home playing MMOs for the next 1-2 years. Slept during the day. Barely ate, bad hygiene. - My mom sought help and I started a rehabilitation program. It included therapy, social training and work. - Soon got a major depression diagnosis. Also got my ADD diagnosis and meds. - Since then to this day I have been through countless forms of therapy and rehabilitation. - Moved away from home and got my own apartment. - Got a job at a cafe through the rehab program (my first real job). Discovered I wasn't useless. - Met my first girlfriend there. Had a kid. Also where I met my two best friends in the world. - Left cafe for personal reasons. Broke up with girlfriend. Child services took kid away. - Got my drivers license. Got a gym membership, started working out regularly. - Went back to school and Graduated culinary school (high school) - My dad got pancreatic cancer, had to support him while going to school and having my own problems. - Tried and failed to deal with the pressure over time of several professional kitchens. "Hit the wall". - Result some form of PTSD. Stayed inside a lot for a year, tried to slow down and figure out a new path in life. - Found spirituality of some kind. It helped me that year to find peace and new direction. - My best friend committed suicide - Returned to the cafe several years later. This time with culinary degree and experience from prof. kitchens - Last 2 years I've been working there, half-time only. Meanwhile going to therapy of sorts. - Got a good stable income for the first time - Got an Aspergers diagnosis after almost a decade in therapy. Things finally make sense. - Now I'm trying to take care of my well-being and get a structured life.

I am sort of relieved, game to film adaptions have a bad track record. There is plenty of KH around to get my fill without this.

This made me really excited for the games
