    The thing I hate the most about swim meets is that they end at 12 pm and 2:00 pm feels like 9pm

    ugh i know :C i would wake up like at 5 am for swimmeets out of town and 6 am for local and if it was out of town we couldnt leave until the very end of the meet which was always like 3 or 4. but thankfully, if it was in town, we could leave just as soon as our events were finished.

    That's what it's like after work. Except I get off at 3pm on Saturday, so it feels like 10.

    Oh man I despise it, ours don't last long and we can leave whenever we are done with our events, but I'm so glad to meet another swimmer on the site I hate having to explain heats and events to people they just don't understand lol

    since i was a beginner to swimming i was always in the earlier heats. except then i got faster and they put me with girls that swam a good 2 seconds faster than me and i was like 'NOOOO'. ours always last SOOO LONG. since it's always several different schools competing and there's at least 5 heats in each event.

    Oh well I'm talking about a county summer league but yeah swim meets for the highs school is really long for us too. This is my third year and I'm just now passing people and the season is almost over but the school season will start soon and we do ours backwards the slowest are int he later heats for summer than like that in school

    i just do swimming during the school year since i cant be bothered to do anything in the summer xD I'm not sure if i'm going to stay in because it does take up most of my time and i'm not that good :| By the end of the season my fastest time was 39 seconds for 50 yard freestyle.

    Well this is my second year on the school team and it does take alot of time, I don't have much of a life during the season because I have choir and swim which takes off alot of time of my school year but I manage it just keeps me from having the job I want. My free is a 36 but they don't have me doing 50 free coach has me doing a 100 free and back and will probably have me doing breast this year, but if she puts me in hundred fly I will die

    i actually don't mind fly very much??? i don't complain. i mean, yes it's tiring, but i'm actually pretty fast when i swim fly. they only gave me freestyle events since i was a beginner. we had meets every other saturday and then i had a bunch of choir stuff as well, so i was like always busy on the weekends xD
