Will Donald and Goofy be involved in The Final Battle?

Posted

Since the 7 guardians of Light and 13 seekers are destined to fight, i was wondering about Donald and Goofy, our trusted allies throughout the whole series, will they be involved too?

Of course! They even defeated (kinda xD) Ansem in DDD, so they won't be useless in the final battle.

Probably. They were shown in the DDD opening in the final part and while this doesn't confirm or hint towards them, in a vision seen in Chi, we can see 13 hooded figures standing against 9 other figures, with my guess of these 9 being the 7 guardians of light and Donald and Goofy.

The Secret Ending of DDD foreshadowed that Donald and Goofy will play a pretty major part in upcoming KH titles and since it's hinted so heavily, it's pretty much guaranteed that they will be involved in the final battle.

They are going to help out with everyone some kind of way.

If they're not, the final battle will be garbage.

I doubt it because Donald and Goofy are not keyblade wielders, which one of the reasons why they didn't participate the Mark of Mastery Exam with Sora and Riku in DDD so I doubt they will be involved in the final battle Master Xehanort and his Seekers of Darkness. Unless Nomura will create some crazy logic to get those two involve or by making them keyblade wielders, which I hope not because I want Donald to stay as a magician and Goofy as Mickey's Captain of the Knights. As much as I love Donald and Goofy but I don't them to be involved in the Keyblade War in KH3. I want the Keyblade War in KH3 to be about Master Xehanort and his Thirteen Seekers of Darkness against the Seven or Nine Guardians of Lights keyblade wielders.

I would say they would be. They played a small, yet significant while also clumsy, part in KH3D so i am sure they will do the same thing when the seven and thirteen battle.

Donald and Goofy have been by Sora and Mickey's sides from the very beginning (of Kingdom Hearts and the entirety of Disney itself respectively) so there's no way I can imagine them not charging into the apocalypse along side their long time friends. The Seven Of Light must clash with the Thirteen Of Darkness but nothing says that the Seven can't have extra help.

Most likely. It just wouldn't be the same without Donald's garbled noises and Goofy's "HEEEEEYYYLLLPP"

I think that after everything Sora has been through with them, I think it'd be a sin if Donald and Goofy weren't a part of the final battle! They've been with him in good times and bad times, so it's only fitting they fight by Sora's side till the very end! I'm sure Donald and Goofy will be there! At least, I hope so! :D

Of course. The fact Xehanort needs 7 Lights doesn't mean only seven people can fight. Go on a fight against 13 people without bringing more backup when there are allies available is ridiculous, and the good guys don't even want to be Lights, they just have to be or Xehanort will go after the Princesses of Heart.

Actually, there's no way to know for sure if Donald and Goofy aren't Lights. No one ever said all the Lights needed to be Keyblade wielders, Mickey just assumed that. And you know what they say about assuming.

Well, technically, they don't, like, have to be Keyblade wielders. They've been at Sora's side for almost everything he's been through (save for the Mark of Mastery, obviously, but still). I'm sure they'll be at his side for the final battle.

Also, I noticed you had som poor grammar in your post; no offense, of course, just thought I'd let you know.

I know I have grammar problem. Thanks for the consideration. Also when people said "no offense" that usually means they're being a offensive. To me Donald and Goofy are not keyblade wielders so I don't think it's necessary for them to participate in the second Keyblade War in my opinion.

I actually hope not. I want Sora to take out the last boss on his own, no Donald, no Goofy, no Riku, no Dream Eaters. I only want his friends to be there "in spirit". Sora has never had a 1-on-1 final boss battle and I think having one against the most powerful Keyblade Master of modern times would really show his growth. So I hope that in KH3, Xehanort does something to completly cut off Sora from his friends, thinking it'll make him weak and then takes on his final form, only to learn that Sora doesn't need to be with his friends to be connected to them.
