Hey, all.

I haven't seen many people talking about this topic yet, which is the 'box' in KHXBC. Before 2.8 released in Japan, Nomura did an interview with Famitsu and talked a bit about 2.8 / KH3. In the interview, Nomura says that what is actually inside the box is a secret still, but that in Kingdom Hearts III there is someone who journeys forth in search of this mysterious box.

- By that are you talking about the box that the Master called a “Suprii~se!” and entrusted to Luxu along with the Keyblade? There was also something written on it...

Nomura: The perceptive fan may have already worked it out but, it still remains a secret. In [KHIII], a certain person is looking for that box...

What do you think the box is? And who do you think is the one searching for this box in KH3?

I'm willing to bet that the pieces of the X-Blade are inside. And if that's true there's only one person who would be looking for it. And that's Master Xehanort.

Peace!

It's either what Yuya said which was my first theory or another one that a member whose name I can't remember right now posted on here and it says that the box contains MoM's heart . When the 7 GoL and the 13 SoD fight it will summon the MoM .Xehanort could be the one looking for it.

Inside the box is Kingdom Hearts.

Otherwise the series wouldn't be called 'Kingdom Hearts.

Plus the box is decorated with all sorts of hearty symbols.

My Theory is Also the MOM's heart, because they are 7.

We don't Know the name of the MOM, but the 6 others are deadly sins :

INVIdia = envy

IRA = wrath

ACEDia = sloth

AVArithia = greed

GULA = gluttony

LUXUria = lust.

What is written on the box is "X super", like SUPERbia wich is pride.

We Also know that the MOM can remove à part of himself, but this part skill works (like his eye on his keyblade).

So i believe the MOM is superbia, and that a part of him (most likely his heart) is in the case

But Nomura said that MoM won't appear in kh3 :/ unless he's lying

Maybe not the MOM directly, but his heart might be a key or something

It's either the X Blade or a way to get to Kingdom Hearts

The X-blade might be what's in the box, and probably Xehanort is looking for it.

Or may the whole "Dim, Vanish, Fade" talk from the MoM a means to be siding with 13 Seeker of Darknesses. He might be the one that is trying to find the box where it is in the future and open it.

I feel like this is pointing back at the conversation regarding Ava and Luxu in X[chi] (many months later in Unchained X).

A certain person looking for the box? Must be Xehanort. It would help a lot to know WHAT is in the box.

This was what I had been thinking, but then I realized that the Keyblade War had not erupted yet so it can't be the pieces.

The box has the magical maguffin that Nomura will use to escape whatever plot hole he digs himself into.

I find the idea that the box contains the Master of Master's heart kind of fun. It's absurd and funny enough to work imho
