I was wondering what KH you guys think are normal names to use as baby names? Names that doesn't scream "video game character" on it. Names that'd you name your children!

I was thinking of that considering I'd love to name my kids KH names one day. How about you guys?

For girls, I figure these names would be okay;

Shion (For Xion)

Kairi

Maybe Naminé

Ava

Terra (considering Terra is unisex)

For boys I was thinking:

Ienzo

Even

Dilan

Lea

Ïsa (it's a middle eastern name from what I believe)

Aced (I'm absolutely in love with the name Aced)

Axel

Hmm, personally I couldn't really see myself using KH-themed names for my kids, but some names that I think are more normal-sounding are Lea/Lee (or Leigh for a girl), Kairi, Evan, Dillan, Aqua, Terra, and, surprisingly, Sora. I actually met a kid named Tidus in a grocery store once, which I thought was pretty cool. :D

Also, yes, Isa is the Arabic name for Jesus; good job there!

Terra for sure especially if my kid has brown hair.

Or if he's voiced by Jason Dohring

Axel is very normal for what I have seen mostly here in good ol´ Mexico and other South American Countries. If I ever have a kid and it´s a girl i´ll name her Kairi, to live the dream.

spoiler alert: any name from a video game is too gamey,

that goes doubly for Japanese games.

although oddly enough the only normal names come from the Somebodies Evan, Dillan and Lea (Axel also works). i get the feeling that was just a lucky accident and Nomura would have given them more funky names if he hadn't already decided how the Nobodies got their names.

Sora, Kairi and Riku will always be Japanese names, and they all sound like they come from a video game. That's not a bad thing but just sayin

For Girls, Terra and possibly Ava sound like a normal names (if you consider Ava to be a shortened version of Avril). Shion is a Japanese name and Namine is definitely not a standard name.

As for your Boys, Evan, Dilan, Lea and Axel are standard male names. Isa sounds like an exotic European name. But Ienzo is not a name.

I mean you could get creative and call your son Kai (sorta like a Kairi but re-purposed for a boy's name).

But before you make the decision to go ahead, consider whether or not your child would appreciate knowing they were given a name based off characters from a video game series. I should point out that there are a few eccentric people out there who have, and I kid you not, called their children 'Megatron', and 'Sephiroth'.

Thank god No one has done it yet for Xehanort.

excessively gamey i'd say

If you do it right, you could even do some of these (but don't get carried away!):

Arlene (Larxene's assumed somebody's name)

Hayner

Pence

Olette

Demitrius (Later on, start callin' him Demy, like Demyx's somebody)

*shrugs* Personally, I got no clue what I'd name my children if I were to have any. If I were to name my children something out of a video game or anime (sounds like a really weird idea...), I would probably just go with...

Ha, I kid! I seriously don't know what I'd choose. xD

Rock on!

I met two kids at my church once. Their names were Roxas and Ventus. Their mom is a HUGE Kingdom Hearts fan...
