Who could the 5th Union Leader be, and what role will he or she have in the Kingdom Hearts Series down the line? This is a short theory of mine about who the 5th union leader ux could be. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic and if there is interest in the theory I may flesh it out in even more detail in the future! Hope you enjoy!!!  

I think at this point, it can be anyone. I never heard of Blaine before so this could be someone brand new to the series.

I think Blaine has some kind of connection to Ienzo/Zexion.

If the 5th Foreteller is a a female, I think they will have a similar connection to Olette.

it's most definitely Donald. He has been "hatching" some kind of plan from the very start of the series and it has been confirmed by Yen Sid HIMSELF and the KH UNX Twitter account. The pieces are finally coming together and now in order to defeat the Mastermind we must NOT heal Donald at all in KH3. That's what that Duck of a goose deserves after all.

It's stupid, but here's my thought process:

 

Q. Is the the 5th Foreteller someone we know or have a connection to someone we know?

Yes, because why have a big build up for people we don't know?

 

Q. Are they male or female?

I think Nomura will keep the same dynamic as the old foretellers of 3 males and 2 females, so I think the 5th one will be female.

 

Q. Who are the original female characters of the series?

Aqua, Kairi, Larxene, Namine, Olette, and Xion.

 

Q. Who can it absolutely NOT be?

Aqua. She's already well connected and important enough to the story that she doesn't need to be the 5th Foreteller. Plus, having both Ven and Aqua be foretellers leaves Terra out, which doesn't seem right from a story point of view.

 

Kairi. Even though she has a slightly mysterious background, like Aqua she's already important enough, why make her a foreteller on top of that?

 

Q. Who has a slim chance?

Namine. DiZ made it perfectly clear that Namine is the "special" Nobody of Kairi (and Sora technically). While I doubt she's the foreteller, there are still so many question marks around her, that I guess she could be the 5th one.

 

Xion. Again, pretty clear that Vexen made her, but maybe he was inspired by a statue of an old keyblade wielder or something? But she is suppose to look like Kairi, so probably not.

 

Q. Who is left?

Larxene and Olette. Larxene could definitely be the 5th Foreteller. However, Ven looks like Roxas, and I'm getting a lot of Zexion vibes from Blaine. Having Larxene there as well makes the group a little too Organization XIII-ish for my liking.

 

That's why I think it's Olette. Timeline wise, if Ven can be one, Olette can be one as well. She doesn't have any story obligations to prevent her from being a Foreteller. She also seems pretty pure like Ven.

 

tldr: I didn't necessarily pick Olette, she was just the only choice after all my eliminations.

No, I'd seriously consider that a possibility. If not for just one hitch, Nomura would have to draw the character, so odds are it's just going to be another new character we haven't met yet, but will have some air of mystery to them.

this theory actually seems kinda interesting in my eyes. it would give Hayner, pence and Olette a greater purpose than being just 3 kids that live in Twilight town so that would be kinda cool. Although i think it would make more sense if they did this a little differently but i do really want some importance to come out of the twilight town gang.

That's... a completely viable reason (assuming the last member is someone we know). Plus, it's give some further narrative relevance to the Twilight Town trio. If Sora, Riku and Kairi went from ordinary to extra-ordinary, I don't see why Olette can't either.

This was a very interesting video, Prodigy! It's anyone's guess at this point who the fifth Union leader will be, but given all the secrecy and build up, my guess is that it'll be someone who ends up being important in the overall grand scheme of things! We'll just have to wait and see who this eventual Union leader is, but well, I really have no idea what to expect! I think Nomura's planning something big! X3
