Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, June is already upon us, and the biggest gaming event of the year, E3, is just on the horizon! With this big event, many surprises are expected, and the big question here is, will Kingdom Hearts III show, and will we finally have the release date we've so longed for? So what do you all think? Will Kingdom Hearts III be a no show, or will we see something? Will we see the release year...or now in development?

I strongly believe it will be at E3 with a trailer and maybe a live gameplay, and they will show when it might be released (like summer, winter) but no definitive date.

Here is why I believe those things: Square Enix line up of games is pretty low right now, their biggest games are FFVII and KH3. That's why both of them need to be at E3, or else SE will announce new games that have to be 1000 times better than those two and then will have to deal with our rage.

About the date, SE must have learned something from FFXV delays. Changing the release date of a game too many times affects the financial part of a company (investors and stuff). In my opinion, from now on SE will only announce a release date when it's 100% sure it will be in that date.

So... I really have my hopes up for this E3!!!

I completely agree with you.  I would be more surprised if Kingdom Hearts III wasn't at E3.  I almost feel as if Square-Enix needs to reveal something to appease the fans.  I don't want Square-Enix to reveal anything that they aren't ready to reveal yet, but I have a feeling that we will get both a trailer and a release window.  Maybe we will even get a new world announced.  I won't get upset if what I expect to see isn't there though, but here's hoping for something good.

I would honestly be over the moon if we only get a graphic showing the KH3 logo and a transition to show the release window. But i think we are going to at least get a mini trailer of a world reveal... I don't see it being a full fledged trailer though!

Yeah, well, let's hope for the best! And you are correct, right now, the biggest games in Square's lineup are VII Remake and KHIII, and both need marketing and publicity so that the public eye continues getting hyped and the company gets more investors and the like interested, ya know? I'm pretty sure that at this year's E3, there's a strong likelihood that the release date, or at the very least, release year for Kingdom Hearts III will be revealed! Here's to hoping!

Yeah, here's hoping! But I do believe that given the rather dry season we've endured with almost no updates on Kingdom Hearts III, I think it's safe to assume that E3 will be the big splash we've been waiting for, like what happened in 2015! Really, it's all in a matter of days that we have to wait, and we'll get our answer!

Well, given how long we've been without seeing any new footage, at the very least I'd expect to see gameplay of San Fransokyo! That world was revealed, but there's never been any gameplay footage of it, and I'd love to see how that world looks and how it's like to battle alongside Baymax! I'm sure that we'll get either a gameplay trailer, a story trailer, or a fusion of both! As long as it's not too spoiler heavy, of course, but enough to get us all hyped to the max!

July 13, 2018! That'd be the ideal release, symbolic and whatnot!

 

And yeah, it'd be cool to see some world reveals, but at this point, I'm satisfied with what we've been shown. I don't want to be spoiled on all the worlds, so just one more world reveal would be fine, ya know?

Of course, because Nomura-san said that after Kingdom Hearts 2.8, Kingdom Hearts 3 would be the next major game to come out. Oh yes, that's also a very good point you've put, Riku! D23 is in fact coming close by after E3, so if we don't see anything KHIII related at E3, we could very well see something at D23, or in the concerts that are happening this month as well!

Yes sure enough we did see a Kingdom Hearts III trailer during the concert last night in LA and I'm so glad that I went to it last night

Duuude, you're so lucky you were able to see it live! I bet the audience reactions were insane! I was up at 2AM when the trailer hit Youtube, and God, I'm so happy, I was hyped as hell, and I still am!

Dude I know seeing it live was just amazing and everyone else's reaction was just insane. And in a way I was hoping that we see something about Kingdom Hearts III during the concert but I didn't think Testuya Nomura himself would show up and reveal it for us  . But you're right we did it we got a new KHIII trailer

Indeed! I'm still reeling over the trailer, and I find myself watching it a lot of times! It's just that awesome!
