So the Nintendo of America Twitter just posted that is going to be an 8 minute Pokemon Direct tomorrow at 7am PT and 10am ET (9am Central?).  Well this is something interesting it's going to be a short direct but what do you think we will hear? Will we hear about the Rumored Pokemon Stars for the Switch or some other tittle for the Switch? Or will it be a remake of the next generation Diamond and Pearl?

I'm hoping for both the remakes and a switch title! Usually the directs are short, but they're pretty /direct/ aren't they?

I'm calling gen4 remakes since they were hinted in the next Pokémon movie.

Not to forget the music that was used in the trial battle.

I'm sure I'll be disappointed if there's a remake of Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. The fourth gen does not needs a remake. I think it's good on its own. 

All I can say is this: There BETTER be a Pokemon Switch game in this Direct.

If they just focus on Pokemon Go or ANOTHER exclusive 3DS Pokemon, the Nintendo community will rage.

Oh, and I think it will be Pokemon Stars for Switch only.

I don't think there will be Pokémon Go. It isn't made by Nintendo.

It can be both Gen4 Remake and Pokémon Stars.

. I don't think they will be anncouning this because they usually don't go all out like that for a side game. I'd be happy with either Diamond/Pearl remakes or Pokémon Stars or whatever it is, but I think Diamond and Pearl is most likely.

It won't be a main series game on the Switch. GameFreak just opened a job listing for what looks like a Switch game, and it closes next summer. They usually take a year or two to transition to new hardware anyway, I don't know why everyone expects a Switch release so soon. They're just setting themselves up for disappointment. I'm thinking it's going to have Gen IV remakes and hopefully Pokken on the Switch, Wii U never got the additional characters and an upcoming port would fix that.

People just need to not expect something wild for every announcement. People are gullible and believe leaks like Stars, then get mad when a rumor with no substance is proven false. The Switch just came out and the 3DS is still alive.

Aqua! How dare you go against the wishes of your own Ventus! You should know, I love the Switch and it's my favorite console at the moment! However, I do see where you are coming from with the whole "just bought a 3DS" thing, as that would sting for you to have just gotten a new 3DS and not being able to play Pokemon if it comes out for Switch. However, you should know that I have both the 3DS and the Switch, so I am game for whatever they throw at me! My dream would be for a Pokemon Switch title, as that is the system I like playing on the most. But I would be fine with another 3DS game, or whatnot. But still, how dare you go against your own Ventus! And language Aqua, language!

Well, the way I see it, and the way Pokemon games work, I'm sure that this time around, the games announced will be remakes of the Sinnoh games, Diamond and Pearl! If you think about it, it makes sense, since this is the pattern they work with! It's new gen, remake, new gen, remake, and when they release the remakes, it gives them time to work on the new generation, ya know? So it's probably that!

 

It'd also be interesting it the game announced was a Pokemon game for the Switch that's like the mainline portable entries! I've always thought that Nintendo and Game Freak will one day go wild and make a huge Pokemon game where you can go to all regions on some world saving quest, ya know? But that's just what I think!

Pokémon UltraSun/UltraMoon...they're really going full-on with the multiverse thing. Also, Necrozma fusion ala Frozen Chicken Kyurem. But will Guzzlord finally not suck?

Since when? Every time I heard speculation on "Stars", it was always in the context of a "third version" (used loosely, but you get the point) like Yellow.

The Stars rumor was started by someone who made up a lot of things to get attention, I really don't get why there was so much hype over it when there was no evidence behind it. It's just like the Pokemon Plus/Minus "leak" that people went crazy about a few years ago.
