The D23 Expo Team has published an update regarding its schedule for the D23 Expo 2017 in Anaheim, California. The update reveals that Kingdom Hearts III will be featured on its "Level Up! The Walt Disney Company’s Video Game Showcase" segment at 1:00 PM PDT on July 15, 2017.

 

A description of the segment follows:

 

Level Up! The Walt Disney Company’s Video Game Showcase (1 p.m., D23 Expo Arena)—

 

Experience never-before-seen gameplay, trailers, special guests, and other unforgettable surprises from across the Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel games portfolios in this must-see showcase. Jimmy Pitaro, chairman, DCPI, will kick off the presentation, which will feature many show-stopping moments including announcements from Marvel, and more information about highly anticipated games, Star Wars Battlefront II™ from Electronic Arts, KINGDOM HEARTS III from Disney and Square Enix, and more.

The Kingdom Hearts III Orchestra trailer had previously revealed that a new world announcement and a new trailer is upcoming on that day at the D23 Expo.

 

On the second showing of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour -, director Tetsuya Nomura also stated that the announcements to be made on Kingdom Hearts III at the D23 Expo 2017 will make fans even happier than they were when the Kingdom Hearts III Orchestra trailer was revealed.

Ah, so the confirmation for Kingdom Hearts III is set in stone twice now! First Nomura and now this! Gahh, just one more month till we get the goodness! It's gonna be a hype as hell wait, that much I can tell you!

 

And if Nomura said that we'll be even happier with what we'll see next month than what we got just a few days ago...good God, I can only imagine the levels of hype that will explode from this next trailer! X_X

Will there be a livestream?

That would be 3:00 P.M in CST. Don't think I'll be able to watch it at the time, but I'll try. Looking forward to what they're going show.

In general, D23 is a PRIVATE event, and nothing is "officially" livestreamed by D23. They can be a little loose on the rules depending on the panel though.

We will most likely have to rely on a Periscope for live coverage, but the trailer will probably be released within a few days afterwards, so who really cares if it is streamed or not.
