Uh no. Not happening. There is no going back. They have been focused on KH3 and will remain focused on KH3. No more sideshows or distractions.

there really isn't any point. the game isn't relevant enough to the plot nor does it have a following big enough to warrant a full on remake.

same with Re:Coded.

So lets all agree that 358/2 days is one of our favorite kh games.

And like that you lost me.

I mean, a remake would be fun, sure, but it's not necessary nor do we need a nonessential distraction at this point.

my opinion from the beginning. and with the lack luster quality of the remasters its just another complaint i with it for not being included.

358/2 Days is my number one favorite side-story Kingdom Hearts game in the series. I would've love to see full remake on the PS3 or PS4. Plus, I think Nomura said that 358/2 Days was originally going to be a full playable remake game in 1.5 HD Remix, but the remake would have taken a full year to do it. But during that time they announced Kingdom Hearts 3 way too early, so instead of delaying 1.5 Remix and delaying Kingdom Hearts 3 Nomura decided to make 358/2 Days a cinematic movie that only focus 75% of the story, they way could focus on 2.5, 2.8, and focus more on Kingdom Hearts 3. So yeah that's how it is. :(

In my opinion a Remake wouldn't be great at all. Even if they worked really hard on it, it wouldn't feel great with the whole 'missions' gameplay. I think it would be a Re: Com all over again.

I think they made a really good choice to make a movie of it. Because I really loved the story and I don't see the movie as a waste. In fact i think they did a great job with the movie. Especially when they added the Roxas Vs Xion cutscene in it. although it should be in it from the beginning.

Indeed, I agree with you, old friend! Kingdom Hearts III is the next and final stop on our Xehanort Saga destination!

But after that they HAVE TO remake it.  Its like the only handheld kh game that hasn't been redone.  AND PHONE GAMES DON'T COUNT

Yeah, after KHIII, Nomura can remake Days if he wants. It'd be cool to see a full fledged remake! :)

I think I rather want SE to remake X chi for the PS4/XBONE then Days..

It's way too much to have them remake the whole mission aspect of the game, but I think they should've given us maybe 7 or so playable story missions so the game can still be represented as a game. I'd say the same for Coded even though I don't care for that game at all.

I'd go with.

- The intro/tutorial with Axel and the COM members

- Agrabah city mission (maybe the Pete mission)

- Beast's Castle mission with Xaldin or the one where Xion gets the keyblade back.

- Xion runs away in Twilight Town mission

- Roxas castle escape

- Xion boss battle

- Riku boss

I think those would represent the game pretty well. Oh well, a guy can dream.
