In honor of the passing of Robert Guillaume, the original voice of Rafiki last night. He was 89. He would have turned 90 in a little more than a month. 

 

The Lion King is my all time favorite Disney film and Scar as always been my favorite character. 

When I was little, one of my uncles loved Scar so much that he had me start calling him uncle Scar and I was his Shenzi. 

Since it's my favorite Disney film probably Simba and Mufasa.

I'm of the unpopular opinion of not liking the Lion King.  However, I did like the Lion King 2.

The Lion King has so many great characters it's hard to choose. I always had a soft spot for Zazu though. Sure he's uptight, but that's only because everything would fall apart without him.

100% agree. 

Zazu was always my favorite, although Banzai is a close second.

Speaking of Banzai, I think it was pretty cool how Cheech Marin re-voiced him for Kingdom Hearts II. 

I love all the characters in the first Lion King movie but Nala is my favorite character in the film. She's a very underrated Disney character.

I've always been drawn to Mufasa. I don't know if it's presence of authority and wisdom or the fact that it's Darth Vader speaking of that lion (but with a better fatherly bond with his son LOL)

Timon and Pumba Not an all too big fan of the other characters. I like child Simba but adult Simba is an annoying wuss.

I like all the Simba there are haha. Gotta disagree though with his older self being a wuss. He was diagnosed with PTSD so the poor cat has a hard time coping and that you can blame Scar for. Simba was a badass in the end.
