Concerning Utada Hikaru's New Theme Song For Kingdom Hearts III...

Featured Replies

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the newly revealed KH3 theme song!!!!!

I agree with you that this current version is hauntingly beautiful and it would be neat to hear it in this current version as the opening song too, but if history proves right then, as with the previous games, the opening scene for KH3 will most likely feature a remixed version of this song.

This is beautifully said took the words right out of my mouth. I've tried to explain this too so many of my friends and so many people online.. I understand if you don't like the song you don't gotta like the song that's fine but at least try to understand what this song symbolizes and is trying to tell you. Like you said this is it. This is the final battle that's going to wrap up the Saga the situations dark and Grimm and the only thing standng up against this threat are strong hearts and Hope and sora a boy who believes there's a light that never goes out.

People are complaining because it's not as upbeat as Simple and Clean well this isn't the same game it's not the same situation if people would just use THERE THINKING CAPS FOR ONCE instead of listening too the song once and hating it because it's not as upbeat as Simple and Clean... ugh... I think the people that dislike the song are mostly casual fans of the series that don't pay all that attention to the story that much and you know just casual fans that haven't been emotionally invested into the characters and Story for years like others. I've been playing Kingdom Hearts since 2002 I am very emotionally invested into most characters in this franchise for crying out loud I'm probably going to cry when I first put the disc into my PS4.

I for one absolutely think this song is out right beautiful and fits the game perfectly I can't wait to hear the full version and I know there's going to be two versions there's usually always a ending credits version and a opening their usually different. I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if the opening is a little more upbeat hopefully not as much as Simple and Clean but just a little bit.

Again people have the 100% right to not like the song it's their opinion but if you're going to hate something at least give a good reason and understand why this type of song was chosen for this type of game and understand the current situation all these characters are going through heroes and villains.

Sora is the light that will never go out and everyone has too hold on to that hope and light too get through this next tough battle.

Everyone has to be tenacious and have a strong will it's going to be a rough battle.

I don't mind hate but I hate blind hate\bandwagon hate

While it still feels like more of a credits theme to me, I'm sure it could still work as a unique approach to the opening credits as well. Though personally I'd still love a fast-paced remix for the opening, but if 0.2 is any indication, it's that sometimes you don't know what you love until it's given to you, so I guess we'll just have to see what it ends up being later. But I do hope there's still at least an opening remix and a closing remix to this single, that's a pattern I really love with the series and it's music.

There will definitely be a fast-paced version for the opening just like Simple and Clean and Sanctuary. If not, it's still a beautiful song. I don't understand the hate. Whatever, not my problem.
