Kingdom Hearts has had it's fair share of final mix versions in the past, mainly with it's "number titles". So, what are the chances that Kingdom Hearts 3 will have a Final Mix or DLC at all?

I agree. With the capabilities of the PS4 and XboxOne, there is no reason to make a Final Mix when everything is DLC.

I am not a big fan of DLC, but it coud be done right for KH3. I hope SE make a fair good and only one Big DLC and his name coud be "Final Mix"

but I make a prophecy today We will see a kingdom hearts ultimate edition with all games Plus KH3 in one box either a year before KH4 is coming out or to "fill the gap" in the meantime

But even with DLC things like "Game of the Year Edition" still get released. Also, maybe I'm misremembering, but didn't other games from DLC-capable platforms get upgraded rereleases? I can't remember a specific one, but I remember reading news about rereleases before.

Kingdom Hearts used to do the rerelease with Final Mix games, but that was only Japan. Then they had everything made into HD remixes first for PS3 and then in one package for PS4. With the capabilities that the PS4 has, why would you suddenly remake a whole title when it can be put on there initially and then any extras added with DLC? Yes the argument can be made with FFXV Royal Edition, but that is part of a greater whole for that title. That team has been constantly promoting it. KH3 is a whole different animal and Nomura is able to do everything he wants to this time without constraints from technology.

‫‫I prefer the Final Mix with its box than DLCs in digital. First for preservation through years, and second because KH1FM + KH2FM, so KH3FM also welcome to the collection.
