Xion is, indeed, an important character. Some people, however, dislike her for stealing screen time and other reasons.

 

How do you feel about Xion - as in, do you like/feel indifferent about/love/hate/dislike/etc her?

And why.

No. She's friggin annoying.

Doesn't help that Alyson Stoner had to voice her.

I'm neutral i guess. I liked her character but not how similar she was to Roxas. I wish she had her own fighting style. not just a copy of Sora.

I'm a little over neutral in the liking side... she's like Vexen and Saix to me, I like them but they definitely wouldn't break my top ten. (Well, maybe, depends on...)

 

I can understand where some of ya'll are coming from with both hating and liking her. It kinda sickens me with the "zomg i heeeaaaaaaaaart heeeerr!!!!1" or "ZOMG SHE NEEDS TO GO TO EFFIN WALLY WORLD". Why can't we be normal-talking human beings here?

 

I like her a little just because of her nature, and when in Mission Mode I need Roxas for to complete a mission and I'm sick of using him, I can use her. I also have a biased liking for her in the same way I like Larxene, they're part of my top three couples. DemyxxXion, baby! I lay claim to it. So in two years when XiDemy(or whatever it'll be called) has a fanbase the size of yo mama, you can say you saw it here first and that I am the inventor.

It's funny... I didn't even know Alyson Stoner voiced her until recently. It never crossed my mind then, but now that I know who it is I can definitely hear it. It's kinda like when I found out Kovu and Max(Goofy's son, that Max) were voiced by the same dude.

But I think they made a mistake choosing her... Xion sounds too young. I know she's supposed to be Roxas' and Sora's age, but I would have imagined her voice a bit deeper. It just doesn't fit right to me, ya know?

I think Xion's voice fits her perfectly. Whoever voiced Namine in Days was terrible. Namine sounded so much better in kingdom hearts 2.

Anyway, I loved Xion alot and cried when she died ( o.o ). I still love being her in Mission Mode and having her kill herself

Yeah, I thought that was weird. You have Anti-Saix and Anti-Riku, so if you play them in MM, it wouldn't be... err... awkward. But play as Xion and fight you-know-who, that's suicide on steriods.

Still think Xion had a horrible voice actress,who isn't that good for Kairi. Hell all those fandubbers do Xion and Kairis voice jsutice. as for rikuAngel Naimie is vocie by Meghan Jette Martin form Camp Rock Fame. Of cours eits disney picking non talanted hacks nowadays is their gain. BBS and the frist to KH games are the only exceptions.

Two letters. N.O.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is by far the most annoying character in the entire series! She whines, she complains, and she let a stupid blindfolded guy get to her! I just hate characters that are all WHO AM I?! WHERE DID I COME FROM?! Well, here's my question, WHY DOES IT MATTER???!!! I hated how they made her more important to Roxas, when she was really just dead weight to the Organization. She totally ruined Axel and Roxas's friendship. Plus, she's totally weak!!! She can't even beat Riku, and that's pretty darn pathetic!! Her ending was needed! The less I see of Xion the better. Also, I don't like how they pronouced him name as Shion. It's Zion for goodness sake!!!

 

Okay, now here's my reason's that are more professional.

 

Her character in general was very uncreative. Her boss battle moves were uncreative, her fighting style was uncreative, her weapon was uncreative, and her true story is uncreative. Her appearence is a total rip-off of Kairi, her voice actor was poorly chosen, and her personality was probably thought up in five seconds. Xion's role in the story was also given too much credit. The game strayed away from Roxas, who was the ACTUAL protagonist and turned everything to her, who was probably just an improve character. The Organization also made decisions concerning her that made no sense at all. For one, she's not as powerful as they say she was. For another, it would have been fine if they had just left both Roxas and Xion alone. Xion is not the only one they can use. I also don't understand why she is required if she keeps ruining so many things. It's almost like everyone is oblivious to the damage she is causing. In my mind, Xion was a character that was unnecessary, uncreative, unenjoying, and just flat out dislikable.

 

Wow, that was a long thread. If it offends anyone, I'm sorry, but I think I should sum it all up for everyone why we Xion haters don't like her.

I think xion is ok she did went through a lot though in the game and now faded from everyone's memories

Meh, the game could have been better without Xion.

Shes like a fanfic character. Somewhat of a Mary Sue, Gets to be buddies with Axel and Roxas, Looks like Kairi and uses a keyblade...

 

And to top it all off, she is an imperfect replica of Sora.

 

She also hogs the focus of the game. I wanted this to explain more about the organization. Now its only about Xion. This bugs me. I wanted to know about those characters like Luxord, Demyx and Xigbar and their lives in the organization. But you barely hear about them, only about Xion. It even strays away from Roxas sometimes, a more impotant character. The only use of her character is to explain why Roxas leaves the organization and partly on why he can duel weild.

Her existance isn't needed. I don't care about her character.

I think she's...OK, but not a huge fan of her. She is just one more of a Kairi-look-alike which is getting a bit annoying, but I think they could have done without adding her, honestly and gave Roxas some new mysteries/powers he could discover about himself and his connection to Sora.

In a way though, I'm kind of glad Xion was there, though I dislike her. She gave Roxas a push in the right direction and made him wonder more about who he was and why he was there.

I love her! CB She remind me of me in many ways. (Also, her seiyuu fits her better than KH2 Kairi. :'D)
