Well…in 0.2, Yen Sid vaguely mentioned the “the others all had important work to do”, so maybe Sora will somehow know in KH3.

Knowing Sora......no

Cuz they sent Kairi out right before Sora came in at the end of BBS 0.1 Fragmentary Passage(oh my god I hate this name so much)

This series loves keeping Sora in the dark(HA) about literally everything important to the plot so unless Kairi get kidnapped again like in KH1 Sora won't know she's even here unless someone tells him

IIRC at one of the orchestra performances, the Japanese VA of Kairi read aloud a letter Kairi wrote to Sora about her training. I'm not sure where along the timeline Sora receives the letter (if he ever does), but Kairi does try to tell him.

Yes, since Donald and Goofy were at Mysterious Tower when she arrived and left, i'm assuming that Kairi would've told them where she was going.

I would have thought so.

I also remember that, it was awesome.

Well, considering the circumstances that we're at now, I'm pretty sure Sora should at least know that Kairi is on the move, intending to be in the fight as well! But well, I'm sure we'll get this clarified once we play Kingdom Hearts III! :D

Probably not, if he knew, he would probably be against it, not wanting Kairi to be put in danger and everything.

I doubt that. Yes, he’d probably want her out of danger, but he would NEVER want Kairi to not train.

Yeah, basically that, to train for self defense reasons but not to be on the front-lines mainly.

Sora's not that type of character. I'm pretty sure he believes Kairi can handle herself as a capable wielder.

Maybe, we'll see come Kingdom Hearts III, when it comes to love, people will just do about anything to protect those that they cherish the most, am i right?

Of course Sora will want to protect Kairi, but he's not gonna mistrust her abilities.

No, no, i'm not saying that, its...complicated more or less isn't it?
