I've seen that people are ranking each game in the Kingdom Hearts series on a tier list.  I thought that I would get in on this too.  However, I wasn't sure whether I should rank them as what games I think are made the best or as what games are my favorite, so I decided to do both.

I was really debating whether or not to put Kingdom Hearts 1 as an "S" Rank on my "Best Made Game To Worst Made Game" list.  However, in the end, even though I think it does a lot of things better than Kingdom Hearts II does, the clunky platforming, not very in-depth combat, and not very exciting Gummi Ship missions made me decide to put it as an "A" Rank on that list.  I still think that Kingdom Hearts 1's world design and story are better than Kingdom Hearts II's, though, which (as I explained in a previous post) is why it's my favorite game.

B: kingdom hearts birth by sleep and kingdom hearts recoded

C: kingdom hearts 358/2 days, kingdom hearts re chain of memories

D: The mobile game: kingdom hearts Union cross

 

I wish they made an memo game for union cross more 3D instead of the cheap 2d picture book. The lore in Union Cross is ridiculous.

DDD's gameplay is very similar to BBS, but is much more improved, and feels a lot better in my opinion!

My ranking goes like this:

C: Kingdom Hearts DDD, Re: Chain of Memories

D: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Re Coded, Union X

Well, BBS feels real slow and floaty, while DDD feels a bit faster. Reminds me of KHII in a way.

But it's still pretty slow and floaty, and it's still unbalanced in the way some commands and attacks are handled.
