Recoded publicity is much lower than that of Birth by Sleep.:s

Proof: Re Coded has very little previews, few reviews of the Japanese version and (according to IGN) sold less than 5 times Birth by Sleep did in their first week.

 

ReCoded is still a Kingdom Hearts game and Birth by Sleep and the other past Kingdom Hearts games must have acquired many new fans, so why is Recoded so much less popular?:s

Because Re:coded had the unfortunate timing of being released at the same time as Pokemon Black and White.

Because Re:Coded has nowhere near the content of BBS, nor the plot importance.

Because everyone waited for BBS for at least 4-5 years since the secret ending in KH2FM.

Because what the people above me said, and what the people below me are soon to say.

Because people might think recoded is a side game well who knows maybe there sick of kh1 sora and want kh2 sora or maybe it's because they spent so much money on a psp and bbs they cant get recoded or maybe there sick of going to all of the kh1 worlds all over again cause they played kh1 soooooo many times.

lets help em out everybody in the international countries lets increase the selling rate by preordering the game and buying it that way it could get bettr than bbs( doubtfully) but we can try. u know if ui hav munny for it i just need 20 more dollars.

Well I mean bbs, people waited for a long time. Besides coded already came out once for japan. It's already had all it's reviews and whatnot.

because people think its a reamke of KH 1, like they think of KH 3D.

I pre-ordered it in the begining of October, I don't get why people don't care about it as much. It's just as important storywise, maybe a little more since it gives us a pathway to the next game. Idk about anyone else, but I can't wait to get it, I'm just as excited about it as I was with BbS. x3

Re:coded was announced not too long before it's release, so there wasn't much for time for promotion.

Also Pokemon Black and White was also released at the same time as Re:coded.

Which they happen to both be on the same console.

It's because, not only that Pokemon Black and White came out at the same time as Re:Coded, but it's also that Birth By Sleep was much more anticipated. After KH2FM, fans had to wait for like 4 years for BBS to be released. For RE:Coded, however, the cell phone game of Coded was released around 1 and a half years ago. Finally, since a bunch of people thought that Coded was a lousy game on the Cell Phone, people assume that it's bad on the DS, thus there's not many reviews and all that

Technically you could say the same thing about Re:Coded, since it answers a question about KH2's regular ending.

Also, Days didn't particularly leave a good impression on the fandom. I know a lot of people who're turned off by Re:coded in fear of it being another Days.

Re:coded got a sucky publicity? gee. Thats to bad. I finally just got my copy in the mail, and personally...I think its sweet!! I'm on Agrabah right now, and so far, its been great. I just love using the little panel system they made. Its so coolx3 the games is indeed like 358/2 days&BBS. Which is why I love it so much:3

I can't deny the hate for Days, but CoM is actually amongst the most loved games in the series. It normally ranks at third place in the series from what I've seen, after BBS and KH1. All the hate really stems from the card system.

I still don't fully understand why people hate Days so much. Either everyone complains about it, or says it was just totally boring. Awell...What do ya do:p. As for COM, I'm atcually surprised to see that some of you on here love it. All the forums/sites/reviews from other kh fans that I've seen about it hasn't been very postive. The offcial ratings did gave the original COM a rank of 4th place with 77.54%. Re:COM though is last place(6th) with 70.60%...(good, but compaired to the other kh games...). Your right, along most the fanbase of kh everyone hates COM cause of the card system:p. Re:coded seems to share 358/2 days fate

Well people think the graphics in days aren't really "great" when graphics don't even matter in a game at all. Besides that, it's basicly because people had a hard time with using the directional pad and the fact that days had a limit on your magic,a because of the fact that you have to use slots just to lvl up and have magic.

A lot of people don't know what re:coded is. People I have talked to usually think it is a remake of kh1, a game for the 3Ds (they don't realize kh3D and re:coded are seperate games), or that it is a remake of kh1 for the 3Ds. Not only that, but I personally am not that excited for re:coded. I really want to play as sora again, but it looks a little boring to me. The gameplay seems silly to me, you hit blocks pretty much right? I played the demo at comic con and it wasn't that exciting. Plus the plot doesn't look really exciting either. I have not spoiled myself much on this game like I usually do, and the demo I played was a demo, so I don't really know much about the game. I am still going to give it a chance and buy it the day it comes out and I will probably enjoy the game, but I'm not expecting a REALLY good game. So it makes sense that other people aren't that excited about it.

358/2 Days is hated for a multitude of reasons.

There are people who hate it for Xion. People who hate it for simplifying the combat. People who hate the panel system. People who hate the graphics. People who hate how it downplays Axel and Roxas' 'romance'. People who hate how all the difficulty mostly came from tedium. People who hate how little it adds to the story. People who hate how little Disney/FF there is. People who hate how unfocused the game is, and many other things.

IMO Days is the worst KH, but still pretty good.

Have ta admit, never knew those were the reasons why people hated days so much. I never wanted to "check out" there reasons since it was pretty much the samething. I'm a big 358/2 Days, and think its the best kh game yet<3(so much Aku!). Re:Codeds yet to be offcially rated. Maybe it will score a good rank
